The unit we stayed in was very clean, beds comfy. The unit itself is showing some wear and tear but that did NOT affect the cleanliness. The view of the ocean was why i chose to stay here and was not disappointed. The patios of each unit are fairly close and do not lend alot of privacy--not genetally a problem, unless the neighbors decide to get affectionate (if you know what I mean 😀) The pool was clean and offered plenty of seating. I would definitely stay here again.

A real gem. This property is clean and beautiful. Brand new dock, landscaping is perfect, location is within minutes of everything you would want while maintaining a “getting away from it all” vibe. We will be back.

Beautifully kept property. Our unit was nice. Just a few things that could have been better—master bed was very uncomfortable, disposal didn’t work, vents needed cleaning.Wish the pool had been available after sunset—would have enjoyed an evening dip in the pool. Overall very happy with our stay. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others!

As a whole property it was very nice. Our unit needed a deep clean. Our microwave broke and there was no one to report it to repair. The twin beds in the third bedroom need replacement in the worst way. Bed springs can be felt laying/sitting on the bed and you can hear them crunching when you move. Most uncomfortable. King bed has huge hump in middle. Also not very comfortable. Given the weekly rate we paid it was definitely not worth it. I expected a clean unit with nice beds, linens and towels. Only one bath towel per person. Pull out coach mattress stained and sheets piled in middle of mattress and had dead bugs in it.

Cumbersome, but nice.

We had to move from one unit to the next mid vacation due to ,either, vrbo, or coral reef making an error, in which they gave us a lodging unit which was not abailable for the entire period of our vacation. We received a modest discount for our inconvenience, having to move all of our stuff and boat slip. Other than that, it was a beautiful property and great location. I would recommend calling the Indigo Reef Resort and avoiding VRBO all together to avoid miscommunications.

We enjoyed a week long vacation in Marathon, Fl and chose Indigo Reef Resort as our "home base". Indigo Reef itself is a wonderful place to stay, however our Villa ( 11) had many issues. First of all, the unit was not properly cleaned. There was food on the stove, the floors were very dirty, hairs left in two bathrooms, and when my daughter to bed at night she had to get out and shake the sheets because the sheets were sandy. Many items in the unit were broken (cabinets about fell off upon opening) and the washer leaked all over the floor. We called the unit Manager and he was not friendly at all. He said that we would have it fixed and it never was..with only 6 towels given for 6 people, laundry is very necessary. This is only a fraction of problems we encountered! Bottom line, we would totally stay at this location again. We will be very careful with which VIilla we are given, most are very nice and well taken care of and the grounds are well cared for.

For some reason, information that was to come to me regarding check in, rules, directions, etc. from KeysCaribbean would not either email or text. I spent a lot of time tracking down someone to talk to, and although they were nice, there was a definite electronic communication problem. The villas are spacious, the grounds lovely, the pool very large. The porches were picturesque, but unusable because of the bugs. Very convenient for boats/fishing.

Indigo Keys is in a perfect location. Views looking over the water. Easy access to local grocery and touristy things. Access to condo was easy with info (codes) provided prior to arrival. Condo had most everything we needed. Others before us had left cooking spices and charcoal/lighter fluid. The grill area was convenient and pool was beautiful. Set up of condo was good. 3 bedrooms worked very well for us. Second bath was a little small for 4 people. Master bath was large. 1/2 bath downstairs. Laundry in condo. Would have liked extra silverware. Enough for 6, so had to wash dishes after every meal. Cooking pans were limited in size. Would like skillet or larger pan. But certainly enough variety to make it work. No recycling to be found.

Indigo Reef is a Keeper

The resort was in an excellent location and very well kept. Though expensive it was worth the steep price tag for convenience and location. The unit was top notch and pool area pristine. On the downside for a resort of this caliber I would have expected a hot tub in the pool area and at least a small beach. The sample shampoos and lotions and soaps were very skimpy for a stay of a week for 5. The gym was sparse and equipment antiquated. To end on a positive note, interacting with the mother and baby manatee off our dock was lovely. Also the breezes and views from the 4 porches were delightful.

Great place to stay

The villa was really spacious. The views from our veranda and balconies were amazing. The villa is very well equipped. The pool is fantastic and is only a couple of minutes from our villa.
