"Better than I was expecting. They said it was a partially renovated room but honestly it was pretty great. So much space! Beautiful view. Pull out sofa was new and was the best one we have used. Comfy!
This was a last minute booking and for the low price we paid I wasn't expecting much. Wonderful surprise. We didn't have time to check out the area but we did do the whale watching right beside the hotel and it was fantastic."

"Clean & comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but clean. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool while it was +30c outside. As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria.
