The room was cheap, but was in a state of disrepair. A broken toilet seal leaked water into the floor when flushed, the motor in the heater made loud noise and keep us awake at night, an electrical outlet was coming loose from the wall and someone put a piece of scotch tape on it - which did not obviously hold it in place. The caulk in the tub was gross and half missing, and the plumbing in the tub was loose. The room had a slight musty odor. The bed was hard and the springs squeaked whenever I moved. Breakfast was packed up and gone before the breakfast period was supposed to end (10 minutes early), so I didn't get to eat. Again, the room was cheap, and you get what you pay for. For a hotel that boasts "recently remodeled" in their advertisement, I feel that potential customers should be aware that this isn't actually true. New carpet and an updated lobby does help the in-room experience.
