The main plus about this hotel is the service. The staff will do anything you ask in terms of sorting travel out etc.

Nettes Hotel sehr freundliches Personal. In der Nähe gibt es auch ein paar nette Restaurants.

Very poor.
The room was very noisy, there was an engine that work all night .the bathroom was not cleen .
The promis a brackfast bit when we enter the dirty room that should be the place serving good very thing was like a mass .we approach to the diner room to eat something before flight at 6:30 am but nothing left so we left the hotel without breakfast. We ask the redaction to help us to control the air condition, but nobody came.
Last word- don't go to this hotel.

Shady, false advertising, go elsewhere.
Certainly the worst hotel I've been to in all of Myanmar and possibly in the world. It's unfortunate because the building itself has potential if it was managed better and wasn't so dirty. For 2 nights I did not have hot water, yet they kept saying I would get it soon, they were fixing the problem, or that they checked while I was out and it was fine, and then they spent hours in my room pretending to fix the problem. By midnight I had enough and got upset, and then finally one of the desk people admitted that the water heater sits on the roof and doesn't make it down to the first or second floors. The hotel is only for floors, so basically 50% of the hotel is not getting hot water. Although I was staying at Mandalay longer, I decided just to move hotels. When I tried to leave, they told me that I didn't pay and held onto my credit card to charge me again, even though hotels.com always takes the fee up front. I showed them my receipt from hotels.com, and still they insisted to charge my card until I mentioned getting the police involved. If you get tempted by the cheap prices and decide to stay here anyway, DO NOT use cash because you will have no way to remedy the fraud. Also check/photograph the contents of your mini bar as I am not the only one having problems with the front desk. It was always with the woman in the morning who manages the reception during checkout causing the problems. She is dishonest, disorganized, and has poor customer service skills.

Nice terrace for breakfast...but bathroom shower did not drain and the sheets were stained. Eager to help staff. But probably better options in town

Ideal location, brilliantly helpful staff
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were brilliantly helpful with advice on trips; bikes were free to use, which was great for us. The breakfasts were the best we've had in Myanmar and we were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if in Mandalay.

Not worth it
We got what we paid for. Credit to staff but hotels.com advertised it as "secret deal - 75% off". No way was the accommodation even worth what we paid - supposedly 25% rack rate.

Good Value for Money
Skybar Restaurant great!. Two very good evening meals. Staff attentive. Reception staff organised a day trip to the temples and our early morning taxi to the quay for 6.00 am! Very efficient, friendly staff. Foyer area a little dated, comfortable but small room.
Hotellet er simpelt og ligger sentralt. De som jobber der gjør så godt de kan selvom ikke alle snakker engelsk føltes servicen som veldig bra!

Great customer service, friendly staff, but rooms are noisy n floor dusty n not very well maintained. Slow check in process, slow wifi. Great location for shopping. Acceptable for the price n budget.

Friendly, great showers, will stay again.
The staff is extraordinarily pleasant.
I arrived several hours before check in and there wasn't a question that's the room would be available immediately.
Best was king sized as requested and reasonably comfortable.
Shower was superb. This is a big deal for me in Myanmar.
I didn't not have breakfast here because I had breakfast meetings every day, but it looked ok and the other other guests seemed to enjoy it.
