"Our stay at MGM Grand was a mix of positives and frustrating experiences. Unfortunately, two people in our group had their wallets stolen, which was very upsetting. When we went to Lost & Found, the employee there told us she was on break and that no one else was available to assist us, so we would need to come back later. Given the situation, that response felt dismissive and unhelpful. We told housekeeping in person that we did not need our room cleaned, but they still entered and partially cleaned it, which was odd. To be fair, we didn’t put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, but it was still unexpected. The thermostat was set to 65°, yet the room would not cool below 69° and felt much warmer, making it uncomfortable at times. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the property met expectations. The pool was heated and very comfortable, which we enjoyed. However, there was only one server at the pool, so service was very slow unless you walked up to the bar. Seating around the property was limited unless you were eating or gambling, which was inconvenient. The elevators frequently malfunctioned and often wouldn’t let us select our floor, forcing us to switch elevators. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, but overall the service and security issues made the stay disappointing."

"The hotel was centrally, located on the strip and had access to shopping areas and restaurants. There is really no reason to leave the property."

"The staff gets an A+. Everyone we encountered was professional and friendly which is a breath of fresh air considering how hospitality has generally declined post-Covid. We had a problem with our private cabana door opening to the pool. Security and maintenace were on it within minutes. The pool manager gave us a free daybed to use for our inconvenience and the hotel reception called within 30 min to offer a new room. The District 3 private cabana room was pretty awesome. The pool closes at 5 pm so it was great to have a quiet outside space to relax in the evening. We brought our own drinks and snacks to eat on the patio so we avoided the awful pool menu prices. District 3 elevators went right down to the Uber pick up area and Dunkin Donuts. The room had a small fridge however, no coffee pot. Be prepared to pay $8 for a plain black coffee. While Vegas is expensive, the Linq hotel was a great value and comfortable for our needs."
