Overall it was a great stay but we were disappointed when our room got downgraded because of a wedding. The staff offered us a late check out and a small amount of spa credits but we really wanted to room we paid for originally. Overall they did the best they could to accommodate but best you confirm with them ahead if you book a room on the water

Pros: 1) The room was spacious. 2) The valet was able to charge my non-Tesla-EV overnight after I asked about it. I greatly appreciated this as I was never able to get the non-Tesla-EV chargers near the resort to charge. 3) It was near Cascate del Mulino so I didn’t have to drive there. It’s two mile return, mostly flat, so it was an easy walk! Cons: 1) Because being cold helps most people sleep better and my body already has issues regulating its temperature, I am going to gripe about the poor AC. 2) Although the resort tries, you’re not going to escape that sulfur scent. But you’re at a hot springs resort so it comes with the territory.

The staff and the look of the resort is top notch! The staff deserves 10 stars. We came for the springs and if you have not been to a pool fed from a sulfur spring, then you will be in shock like we were. We have been to many resorts with hot springs but not like this one. The pools and whole resort had a strong sulphur smell. It was even in our room which was far from the pool. There were flies everywhere, even while getting a massage, flies were buzzing and sometimes landing on me which cancelled out the relaxation of the massage. However, the resort is near the public and free falls/pools which enticed us to the area. For some reason, perhaps the flowing falls and cascading pools, there were not slime clumps floating around, no super strong sulphur smell there like at the resort. The pools should be cleaned of the floating debris more, overall, the top notch staff are amazing and the resort cannot help the way a natural sulphur spring smells or how it attracts flies.

We have stayed here twice over the last few years and enjoyed it very much. The resort is well maintained, stylish, and very relaxing. We love the pools and water features. Our rooms have been clean and comfortable. The breakfast service has a lot of variety, and the lunch menu has good choices for dining poolside or indoors. You can get a shuttle to their hilltop restaurant which is convenient and has a great view. There is a relatively new pizza restaurant onsite which is really cute, but the food there wasn't particularly great the night we tried it. The staff at the resort is wonderful. Everyone has been consistently welcoming and helpful. We certainly expect to return.

Spacious, well appointed room. The thermal pool was fantastic. So relaxing. The golf course was good but hot when I visited and limited shade. Fantastic breakfast. I enjoyed the surrounds especially visiting the waterfall, the town of Saturnia and Valditerme winery.

- Sehr gutes Frühstück. - Schönes, grosses Zimmer (Garten Junior Suite). - Gute Bar. - Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant 1919 und in der Trattoria La Stellata. Die Pizzeria war mittelmässig. - Sehr gute Massage durch Physiotherapeuten - Genügend Liegen im Aussenbereich, auch sehr bequem. Man könnte sogar die Liegen für den gesamten Aufenthalt reservieren - Grosser Thermalbereich, mit unlimitiertem Zugang zu allen Bereichen für die Hotelgäste - Sehr freundliches Personal - Spa Bereich für Massagen und Treatments sehr schön - Sauberkeit mittelmässig (Boden im Zimmer z.T. klebrig, Schimmelflecken auf Silikonfugen in der Dusche) - Lage direkt bei der Thermalquelle - Wartung des Aussenbereiches magelhaft. Viele zerbrochene Travertin-Fliesen im Aussenbereich, sehr starke Schwefelablagerungen an Geländern, Jacuzzi Düsen funktionieren nur teilweise. - Bagno Romana: Dampfbad: sehr schlechter Zustand. Fliesen sind zum Teil abgefallen und liegen lose auf der Sitzbank im Dampfbad. Verletzungsgefahr. Sauna: Holz quillt z.T. auf, Holzgitter an den Bänken ist defekt. Wir hatten uns sehr auf einen Wellnessaufenthalt mit Sauna und Dampfbad gefreut, wir hatten jedoch nur den Aussbereich genützt, weil der Zustand vom Innenbereich desolat ist. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt, aber für ein Hotel, das zu "Leading Hotels of the World" gehört, sehr, sehr mangelhaft. Schade, dass die Anlage so schlecht gewartet bzw. Defekte nicht repariert werden. Preis-Leistung finden wir deshalb schlecht.
