Selectum is ideal for a family vacation or reunion. Our multi-country, multi-language family—ages 10 to 70—enjoyed the beach, the many pools, and all of the food options, where we always found something for everyone, plus new and interesting dishes.
We were always greeted and made to feel welcome by the inimitable Enver—who once spotted me from 1/2 k away on a tennis court just to say hi. Enver’s ever-presence and understanding of different cultures (he’s fluent in multiple languages, including English and German) is a credit to the resort; his big smile and warm greetings always made us feel at home. The manager, Burak, treated us amazingly, and we greatly appreciate their attention to our enjoyment of the resort.
Everyone at guest relations was helpful, often suggesting new ideas for us and arranging transportation. Our frequent waiter Abbas was also wonderful—he speaks 4 languages including excellent English.
We used the gym almost every morning, which is stocked with cold water and clean towels. (The only addition we would recommend is a few heavier dumbbells.) We used the tennis courts most mornings, which were a short and beautiful walk from the lobby.
The main restaurant’s diverse and plentiful food is supported by other Interesting food available everywhere. At lunch, Gozleme, plus a beach buffet with both indulgent and healthy options.
