"Good location, clean. Staff is willing to always assist. "

"Booked a 2 bedroom unit and found it to be very poorly maintained. (The lounge outside in the rain was in better condition than the one in our unit.) The water damage was clear and could have been wiped off. Car parks weren’t allocated, instead these were taken up by workers and skip bins for reno’s going on through the day. Booked for 4 nights, cancelled last 3 nights after being there for 15 minutes. Photos are very deceiving but good to see they’re trying to upgrade the other apartments....

"The warmth of the room was great, the kids enjoyed the swimming pool and staff service was excellent. Service is key here at Ripple Rotorua and we’re returning back for future holidays…Thank you."

"Great room close to restaurants & cafes. Was able to use Novotels hot spas which was fantastic."

"We had a lovely stay at Hana Lodge. Such a beautiful spot and lovely grounds to explore. The rooms are clean, beautifully presented and well thought out. The staff were amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!"

"Love the Novotel Hotel close to lake and restaurants good parking and free charging for electric cars. Always clean but I feel it’s getting a bit dated and may need to upgrade the bathrooms. Pool and spa pools always great to use"

"Gorgeous hotel and beautiful location!! The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating for my family. Thank you"

"Wifi would not work in our room. Motel under renovations."

"Our room unfortunately was not good. Black on the ceiling in bathroom, no milk in fridge, holes in bedspread, burn mark holes in kitchenette countertop. The worst part was that we discovered there were no towels in our room and the office was closed with no number displayed to call. I'm glad we only stayed one night and if the office were open or a number to call I would have complained at the time and requested a new room."

"Very special well maintained hotel with an exceptional view of the lake. A redeveloped house with additional cabins and animals on the property. Gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 because dinner is incredibly expensive and there was no way to walk around the lake and do some exploration"

"Great location and value. Walkable to town and good, convenient parking. Building is a bit tired, as are the rooms, but staff is great and nice to have a variety of room types available. Would stay again."

"Exceptional. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Country Villa Estate. Danny and Mabel were fabulous hosts from the moment we arrived. We were met with a warm welcome before being shown to our very comfortable room which was beautifully decorated and with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was superb with different options each day. Mabel is a true artist with her delicious breakfast offerings. Beautiful gardens, comfortable spaces to relax, a truly unique...

"Just a little dated on the outside, but rooms are nice, clean tidy and have been modernised. I love the later check out of 11 a.m., that is “a nice to have” without asking."

"The location is excellent but that is where it ends. I have no idea why everyone is giving it the 4 or 5 stars. Please people tell the truth. The rooms are mediocre at best and very dated. The shower robes basically told the full story. They were fraying to bits. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep in as the mattress seemed very tired as you sunk right into it and the electric heaters gave such a dry heat we had to turn them all off. Freezing was a more comfortable option. The breakfast, was...

"建物は古そうですが、部屋の内部はきれいでした。ロトルア湖に近く、静かでのんびりできました。 ただ、スタッフのサービスは残念でした。 事前に送った問い合わせに回答してもらえるまで1週間以上かかりました。 また、朝食用のりんごがあったりなかったりしました。その上、傷んだりんごが置かれている日もありました。"

"The hotel is big, convenient and has amenities. However, the property is very dated."
