The room was so cozy and has an incredible view overlooking Rotorua. The breakfast spread was incredible and it was lovely to spend some time talking to other travelers about where they’re from and get ideas. "We stayed in a cabin withy ensuite, it was perfect. Nice and clean, adequate heating for the cold evenings and nights. The beds were comfy. The wee kitchen had a two hotplate and a microwave. The bench space was a bit squishy for everything but you just made it work. There was a bait station opposite our cabin which is very useful and we used it. The locality of the site is great near all the Rotorua lakes and handy to the city also"

"The property was cozy, the staff was helpful, and accommodating. The rooms and areas were very cleaned and maintained well. Would love to stay here again. We enjoyed the lakeside hot tub as well that was very clean although the light there looks like it needs to be replaced. Would be a great spot for large groups as well."

"The Hotel was great, restaurant was nice. My bathroom had a safety rail on the wall behind the bath which was a safety hazard, it needs repairing before someone has a fall. Room 104."

"Gorgeous view and location. Was unaware that the restaurant was closed due to flooding which was inconvenient as when we booked it said that the restaurant was still operational. Everything was a bit run down but clean and smelled great. Shower appeared to be a bit dirty around the edges and sink took a while to drain and toilet didn't flush well. The resort manager Clare was lovely. Loved the glow worms. Would've been nice to know that the restaurant and a huge majority of the bar area is...

"Unacceptable the whole premises needs an up grade and is stuck in the past I' was born and bred in Tokoroa and have been away for 20+ years, only came back for a tangi was so disappointing to see the Mayfair motel so run down, it used to be a beautiful motel back in the days what's happened ??? Definitely will not be recommending until upgrades are sorted."
