"Got a young kid in tears after planning our stop here especially for the pool, no mention of “no kids allowed” in the pool on the website. Please update your advertising of the pool as a tantalizing “rare find” for families who won’t have access to the pool, as we only spring for this fancy place for that reason. "

"The hotel is OK but looking very tired. I opted for the Executive room which didn't match the description on Hotels.com. When checking with reception I was advised that the room I was in was correct, which it definitely wasn't. As it was late in the day I didn't have the energy to debate. In the morning I discovered my shower didn't work as the heat adjustment knob was broken so after wasting 15 minutes I had to run a bath. When mentioning to the lady on reception she wasn't bothered and just asked if I was checking out today??? Overall it was OK, not great though and I won't be returning."

"Room was clean, coffee, tea, biscuits and water was not replaced after the 1st night. Other than that I couldn’t fault it. "

"Carly and Andy were extremely helpfull. But there was a guy who needs to use deodorant. Body odor at the reception is not acceptable."

"Close to Birmingham New Street train station, great! Rooms have a more modern style, which is cool! Breakfast area is really nice and the menu served is fresh. There is a small store next to the hotel opened 24 h too! My bed sheets were stained, so it was somewhat uncomfortable, but I would come back still. Recommended in overall! "
