Perfect stopover

Returning from Edinburgh and needed an overnight on way back. Lovely room and great breakfast. We had an evening meal which was delicious and wouldn't hesitate on staying again.

Country pub with rooms

A convenient stop off on the way to Whitby. We chose the small double as we arrived late and were leaving straight after breakfast. It was fine for a short stay. Owners very friendly and although the room was above the pub it was very quiet after 10pm. Breakfast was very good.

Value for money hotel that suited our needs after a long day out. Friendly staff who were happy to suggest places to eat as the restaurant was closed (we had been advised of it's temporary closure in advance), and a great breakfast.

Great stay

Great accommodation very clean, owners were nice and friendly. Food was delicious both breakfast and evening meal. Quiet and rural area which was great. Definately would recommend.
