"Almost perfect stay... Hotel, Bar and room was perfect, lovely big room, big comfy bed, Air-con, fridge, safe, TV, kettle cups etc. Big lovely bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. The only thing that let it down for me was no hairdryer, so used to every hotel we've stayed in having hairdryers in all the rooms. Sent a message to say we didnt have one but didnt get a reply. Found out on our last night that the couple next door had a hairdryer so not consistent. My advice bring a hairdryer with you. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise. Would recommend though great hotel on the main street in Barmouth."

"Clean room and very helpful staff but bar was closed (despite notice saying open till 11pm) on our return. We didn't breakfast there but went to Coast in the village. Recommended. No Car park that we were made aware of either."

"Absolutely amazing place .. great food.. lovely staff..the guy at the front of the house who worked the bar and breakfasts was so nice.... a true gentleman made everyone feel welcome.. the rooms were fantastic with air conditioning ..we had an apartment with all the cooking things available if we wanted to cook for ourselves but we had breakfast included and then self catering .parking is provided free in a nearby carpark. The hotel is situated in the centre of Barmouth but it was still very quiet ..it's a five minute walk from the beach and there's loads of restaurants and bars nearby some are dog friendly. All in all it was one of the best break aways that we'd ever had .. Barmouth is such a wonderful place it has everything you need for a holiday ..beaches ...gift shops.. history ... Country walks..good railway and transport links..and very close to Snowdonia with river walks and hidden rock pools . The only downside is that we didn't stay long enough !!..but we've booked in again for next year it was that good ๐๐"

"We had to change rooms to a smaller cheaper room as the one we were given had a shower which wouldnโt turn off and was leaking. Whilst it was good they could move us we were not offered any kind of recompense for us having to move to a smaller cheaper room, after we had paid extra for the one we booked! Even a free drink or breakfast would have been accepted but nothing โฆ. Which was a shame!"

"Staff were super friendly, food was great, the room was comfortable. The only thing which let this hotel down was its cleanliness, the main hotel areas and the room were not that clean which is a shame as everything else was lovely."
