"This was a great place to stay in Alert Bay. Quaint and quirky, with excellent and friendly staff. Try the restaurant downstairs, the fish and chips and their curries were both excellent!"

"One night stay ahead of catching the ferry to Prince Rupert. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The helpful receptionist let us borrow a kettle and the manager gave us access to the breakfast room that evening to select items to take with us the next morning as we had to be at the ferry terminal at 5.30am (about a 15 minute drive from the motel). Quiet, apart from people arriving at around 1am who jabbered to each other without any consideration for those sleeping. There is an on-site Indian restaurant that offers nice curries. Very convenient for the ferry to Prince Rupert."

"Host is very friendly and helpful, room was clean, nice to have an ocean view. Walking distance from the ferry dock. There is an excellent little restaurant in the building (limited days/hours). Overall good value for the rate."
