"Very corporate. Good facilities but very impersonal. Only hotel on our whole trip where we didn’t get milk in the fridge! Wouldn’t stay there again. Much nicer places in the area "

"Friendly and efficient check in. Great sized room - very clean and well set out. Really liked the location - right in the heart of Darby Street, close to lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay again when we’re next in Newcastle. "

"Room needs a real good deep clean - lots of grime in the corners and on the skirtings, smudges on mirrors and glass, foul odour coming from the shower drain. I requested a late check out but the cleaners barged in at 10am on the dot (the time of the original check out time). A couple of the staff members were lovely and a couple others were very unhelpful - asking them anything seemed like a bother and they gave very short 'yes' or 'no' responses with a sigh. A bit of a strange location without any vibe. "

"Great resort for a very comfortable stay. The Lagoon pool is a big draw card! Everything you need there and close by all port Stephens beach’s etc. "

Staff accommodating when we had an extra person We will definitely stay here again if the need arises 😀 Air con not working and asked for it to be fixed which it was cooler but a bit rattly Shame their isn’t a small flyer to tell you where shops are and about the club as not everyone relies on the phone I.e us oldies and county bumpkins "
