"The hotel car park has a skip full to overflowing, and this, as well as disused furniture and scrap metal reduced the hotel parking, on an island where parking spaces are hard to find. We were not given the code to the fire door but were lucky enough to meet another couple of guests who did and let us in. "Love this hotel! Its location near the harbor and right by the main restaurants and sites in Kirkwall is really convenient and safe - with fun things to do all around. The staff were all very pleasant and the pub and restaurant were nice."

"Easy access from the ferry terminal and a great bar. Shout out to Euan/Ewan for his excellent whisky and gin recommendations. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a view of the harbour. Dinner needs to be booked in advance and is really good quality, top marks to the Chef. Buffet breakfast a little cold, which was a shame as the produce delicious. "

"Fantastic stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Orkney. My room was beautiful with everything you could need. My bathroom was fantastic with a bath and a great walk in double shower with rain shower. The food is fantastic and I would highly recommend eating here even if you aren’t a guest. All in all a fantastic stay and hopefully I will be back soon"
