"The rooms have individual heat and A/C controls. The continental breakfast is pretty much limited to toast and cereal bars, so plan for that. Comfortable, clean rooms, and a good value. Wood stay again. "

"This small, historic building was a refreshing change from all the corporate-owned lodgings. The staff were very friendly and helpful (including the two welcoming dogs who functioned as greeters). The winter salad and blueberry pie were phenomenal!"

"Room was not at all what we expected from the pictures on the site. The room we got, was completely run down. Smelled when we open the door, we had to open the windows till we went to sleep. Hot water took a long time to run. We know we didn’t lay very much for the room, but it really wasn’t at all what they have on the booking sites. Had we not been so tired from travelling we would have went to office to ask for another room. Quick sleep and back on the road. Just a warning! Be careful of...

"Loved that the unit came with a table for 4! Did not love the dusty baseboards and loud heat/ac unit that was too loud for us to sleep comfortably. Also did not like that the sleeping area is not separate from the kitchen area. Prefer a bathroom with the sink inside so that other people in the party are not disrupted. Wonderful staff and overall good stay but could have been better."

"It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. This is a get away spot, I recommend, part of which what is not there makes it special. Waldon Pond in a field! I could easly spend a week there doing my writing & a artistic...
