"This is such a stunning property! Even though you’re a quick drive from Heathrow, you feel a world away. The birds chirping, the river flowing, the beauty around the property and Bray is all incredible. I went for many long walks as a solo female traveler, including after dark once on accident, and felt incredibly safe. Can’t wait to come back! "

"Beautiful old building with spacious rooms but ambience and decor are stunted by poor management and maintenance. The bed frame was too big for the mattress, leaving a 1/2 foot gap all round the bed in which the meagre pillows often got lost. The mattress was too big for the bed linen. Everything seemed to be falling into disrepair - window screens with gaping holes, paint peeling off the walls. Our first morning there, they ran out of eggs at breakfast!
