"This is among the best places I've ever stayed. Self check in was easy, the room was spacious and clean, and the hotel was charming. Having a courtesy restroom for toilet/shower after check out was a really nice touch, as were the free snacks and beverages. This spot is well worth the schlep from the station."

"Very conveniently close to main attractions, quiet, safe location. Very helpful staff, good room size , good breakfast. Good value. Recommend!
Note: if you use a white taxi it drops and picks up from the hotel door; if Uber you must walk about 50 yards.
Hotel can arrange for limo transport at relatively decent price, but you must pay in cash…do the white taxi!"

"My second stay here. Room was clean, comfortable, and so was the modern bathroom. Great location close to the station.
Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff too.
One thing to note, the rooms can be compact, but I was fully aware when booking and happy with this, as it’s a perfect location as a base for exploring Rome.
Would be my first choice for a return visit to Rome."

"It is a historical hotel with a 19th c. elevator, a garden and direct access to the opera house in a central location. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. It has, however, become increasingly dingy looking, from dull dirty wood floors, curtains that need cleaning, rugs that are filthy, etc. The rooms range from rear of hotel closet size (a bed and armless side chair in a corner) up to a suite- depends on what you pay. The breakfast is a large buffet with something for everyone. The staff is...

"Location of hotel is great. It was close to city centre and walking distance to many places of interest. Rooms were big with lots of storage however the air conditioning struggled to cool the room. Eventually had to open the windows to get some fresh air in.
Buffet breakfast was ok but could have been better. The breakfast boxes provided in the morning of early checkout was horrible. No milk, no croissants , no biscuits , no bread or anything but just filled with junk that no one would eat in...
