"HIGHLY recommend Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum. We stayed in the deluxe sea view bungalow. This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our month in Asia. The rooms were CLEAN, even to my standards and the staff is so kind. The island is so quiet and peaceful, with countless restaurants nearby. "

"Eigene Bungalow am Hang im Dschungel oberhalb des Meeres. Loggia mit Hängematte. Moskitonetz in jedem Zimmer. Der Strand ist steinig, aber sehr schön. Auf der Insel ist fast nichts los, so hat man seine Ruhe (wobei wir überall in Thailand natürlich auch viele Deutsche anzutreffen sind...). Die umliegenden Restaurants sind sehr gut und günstig, das Hotelrestaurant ist eher teuer. Man muss sich auf Insekten im Zimmer einstellen, weil man direkt in der Natur ist. Kein Warmwasser in Zimmern...

"We had a magnificient stay at Banyan Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful, we felt like home during our stay. There is plenty of activities which are available for free like kayak, paddle board, and cooking class. One thing to take note about the natural friend "insects" around the environment. "If your looking for a camping lifestyle then stay here. We stayed in one of the top level A frames and had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. It is a bit out of the way so be prepared for that but if you want peace and quiet away from the crowds this is the place. Lovely beach practically private to walk...
