Mae Chan Hotels with Swimming Pool

"Delightful resort surrounded by tropical jungle. The high elevation meant you could open the windows and just let the cool evening breezes carry the sounds of nature. The rooms were huge and service was excellent. The fixtures were dated however, but that's my only criticism."

The other room had a bathroom overrun by ants. Fantastic restaurant/bar and we ended up having both lunch and dinner there. The position suited us as we wanted to be close to the Myanmar border. Only real issue we had was the signs at the pool were only written in Thai, with no English translation. The...

"The hotel is very nice nice and well kept, however the pool was not terribly inviting. Large rooms comfortable beds and a large breakfast served. No places within walking distance and 7-11 is at least a mile walk as well. Great if you have transportation and good jumping off spot to Doi Tong and border of Myanmar."
