Located in a very unassuming hole in the wall, it was easy to miss at first. But it was a great location for walking around and the owner was super friendly and helpful. If all you need is a bed and a place to keep your luggage while you explore than i highly recommend.

Easy to find, near the train station. I stayed one night to be close to Atocha for an early train. No lift, but they have luggage storage on the ground floor if you don't need suitcase overnight.

This is a really personable and easy-to-locate pensión that I personally much prefer to a hotel, because I like things affordable and atmospheric with spirit of place. The single bed was smallish (probably not suitable for anyone over six foot, so ask for another option if you are; there are double rooms and bigger beds which would cost marginally more than I paid). Aniceto the proprietor was helpful and efficient; the location is unbeatable, especially if you want to get to and from Barajas by the 3 euro airport train from Atocha. No problems with hot water; this place is perfect for independently-minded people who know what they're doing and can scale three or four staircases.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pensión Mollo and it exceeded all of my expectations. The caretaker at the hotel was incredibly kind and attentive throughout my entire stay. From the moment I arrived, they made sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. The caretaker went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were met, and they were always available to offer assistance or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. Their genuine kindness and hospitality truly made my stay memorable. The hotel itself was charming and well-maintained, with cozy rooms and a lovely atmosphere. The location was fantastic, close to many attractions and dining options. Overall, my experience at Pensión Mollo was outstanding thanks to the caring and friendly caretaker. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the area if you’re a single traveler!

素敵な老夫婦が経営するアトーチャ駅やソフィアレイナ至近のり

いつぞやの宿無し未遂スタッフ就労拒否を回避すべく事前の電話確認を御願いするも『眠い』と言われただけで最終確認が取れず一抹の不安を抱えたままチェックインとなった。最初『満室だ』と言われ肝を冷やしたがゴリゴリ押して確認が取れ一安心。 アトーチャ駅とマイヨール広場を結ぶ坂道の途中にあり見つけるのは容易。専用のベルを押し扉を開けて貰う。ただその先が大変。狭い螺旋階段を3階、日本で言う4階まで上がり更に部屋はもう1階上だった。 老夫婦だけで経営している様で出入りの度に入口を開けて貰い、更に3階のオーナーに4階の入口を開けて貰うのが何か恐縮。呼び出される度にそれをするだけでも重労働だと思う。 今回はトイレ＆シャワー共用の部屋にしたが、物音は聞こえるものの他の客と一切顔を合わさず、従って何ら困ることは無かった。 部屋にエアコンはあるもののリモコンは無し。でも窓を開けていれば充分だった。 あの階段、毎回オーナーに解錠して貰い更に4階に上がって貰い続けて4階を解錠して貰う。自分はセゴビアとトレドの間の1泊だったからまだ良いが、連泊となるとかなり厳しいものがあると思う。ただオーナー夫婦はとても良い人だった。

　マドリードアトーチャ駅から徒歩圏内です。 トイレ、バスルームは共用ですが、部屋にはエアコンついております。ドライヤーは言えば貸してくれます！エレベーターはありません。 なにより！オーナーが優しいです。朝にホテル到着しましたが、チェックインまでカバンを預かってくれました。 闘牛をみて帰りが遅くなりましたが、嫌な顔せず鍵を開けてくれました。 空港までのタクシーも手配してくれ、朝早くのチェクアウトでしたが私の時間に合わせて起きてくれて、荷物も下まで下ろしてくれました。 日本語で挨拶もしてくれてほっこり。 短い滞在でしたが、オーナーの温かさを感じ良い時間を過ごせました！

El Señor Aniceto y su esposa son muy amables; él me ayudó a subir la maleta, pues la pensión está en el 4to piso. El cuarto muy limpio, con una vista excelente de la calle Atocha desde la terraza. El lavabo es muy práctico y disfruté mucho la ducha. La ubicación también es sensacional. Totalmente recomendable.
