Totally stress free stay.

This is our 4th stay at IBIS Garena and we are never disappointed. Helpful, friendly staff always happy to help, comfortable beds and lovely breakfast. Free parking a bonus with covered section if you're early. We stayed 2 nights and took the train into Madrid (30 mins) for the day and in the evening wandered down the mile-long street in Alcara de Henares full of shops, restaurants and people enjoying the space. Ideal stopover point between Santander and Almeria. Highly recommended - even has a Lidl next door for convenience shopping!

Comfortable bed leading to a good night's sleep. Efficiently laid out room. Staff very pleasant. We didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment.

The bar and restaurant at the lobby offers great options for food and beverage, good flavor and quality and competitive prices. The main elevator was out of service so there was very inconvenient to use the secondary elevator because to reach it you needed yo go through 7 or so steps, being very difficult if you have luggage. We found a live cockroach in the bathroom.

This hotel is located in one of the best areas in Madrid. There is so much to do and see in this area alone. Downtown is a half hour walk away from the city centre. Across the street there are several restaurants that serve North American food in case you are craving a taste from home.

I don't think I would go back or recommend this place to many people. The only target audience for this place should be smokers. I had already seen reciews about a cigarette smell in the rooms, however I was hoping this was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, upon my arrival it became pretty evident my room was one of the unlucky cigarette smelling rooms. I did complain with the staff an I was informed they would use an ozone machine to get rid off the smell, but for that I had to leave the room... something not that simple when the hotel does not have a safe and you are traveling with valuables. During my stay I also encountered another guest complaining about the same issue. AC did not seem to work either. The staff on the other hand were polite. It felt like they were trying to work with what they had. The restaurant service was very accommodating and brakfast was simple but covered all the basics.

La habitación estaba bien, las almohadas eran incómodas no tenían un buen relleno. El servicio de cafetería no nos gustó el café frío y caro, el servicio de buffet libre era 6€ pero nos dijeron que duraba hasta las 11:30 él sábado y luego era hasta las 10:30 él café y un croissant en cafetería nos costó prácticamente lo mismo y no estaba bueno. Resultó más cara la noche que cuando reservamos y no me gustó que me cobrasen nada más llegar al hotel.

Cumple 100% lo que promete un Ibis.

– Habitación amplia, súper cómoda y totalmente silenciosa. La cama merece un sobresaliente. 💤 – Ropa de cama de buena calidad, tal como se espera de un Ibis “rojo”. – El desayuno es normalito; faltó variedad para arrancar con energía, – Parqueadero propio gratuito y cerrado: un lujo en Europa. Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que necesite un lugar práctico, limpio y bien ubicado.
