Stayed 5 nights. Location was perfect close to metro, restaurants and other main attractions. The apartment was spacious enough for our party of 5 with a bedroom that had two twin beds and another with a full size bed. The living room had pull out sofa bed which was ok. The kitchen was stocked with a few essentials but could be improved. The washer and dryer in the unit was extremely convenient although it does take a few hours to complete a load. Overall our stay was great!

Great location. Close to Subway. Lots restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Nice and clean room with good kitchen. Also very spacious. Staff are very nice too. But found that the shower head keeps falling off. Need to be very careful when you turn on the water. Everything else is great. Will come back again.

Great stay in Madrid!

The location is excellent! Safe and easy to walk everywhere, including to La Gran Via. Many restaurants, cafes and grocery stores around. Metro station is very close too. Great apartment for a family!

The hotel is new, location is good, front desk team is very nice and helpful. What completely ruined the impression - there is no air circulation in the washrooms, so, when I looked a bit closer to the showers - I saw A LOT of BLACK MOLD. Upon reaching out to the reception, they arranged cleaning, but - the condition of those showers was not “cleanable”, there are much more serious measures necessary to remove all the mold and prevent it from building up.

Our family of four loved our stay at Eric Vökel Apartments in Madrid. The property is located in a great area, less than a 20 minute walk to Plaza Mayor and other key attractions. There are plenty of dining options very nearby, from quick grabs for breakfast, to sit-down or take-out dining. Public transportation and taxis are easily accessible. The apartment itself was terrific. We could control our A/C (we traveled in the summer), had a working TV and internet, and ran the washing machine a number of times. The attendant downstairs - Nan - was welcoming and very helpful. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Close to several tourist attractions and walkable to tour starting locations. Good spacious apartment, only downside is poor sound insulation - can hear all noises from neighbors. In one freak incident, neighbor casted video from his phone to the TV in our room in the middle of the night with volume blaring startling us awake.

Wonderful stay for our family if 4 in Madrid. Fairly central to a lot of sights and very convenient to the metro. We arrived 4 hours early and they held our luggage in the lockers until our apartment was ready. Apartment had everything we needed, from stocked shampoo, soap to laundry detergent. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and it was nice to have the elevator for our luggage. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay

Good location a few mins walk from the old town. Out of hours check-in and check-out worked well. Room very good and nice roof terrace to sunbathe. Two small observations: the sofa bed was uncomfortable to sit on (we did not use it as a bed). There was also not much information about leaving - e.g. were we expected to clean the apartment or take out the rubbish / recycling.

Great modern apartment in charming old building

Very nice, comfortable, great location with Metro stop a block away. Street seemed safe, and there’s a very good 24 hour cafe on the corner. The apartment was spacious with nice beds and bedding. Kitchen was great. Showers had significant mildew/mold around the edges. Everything else seemed clean. It takes about 5 hours to do one small load of laundry in the combo washer/dryer. Overall we enjoyed it and would return.
