This establishment truly sets the standard for cleanliness, with impeccably maintained rooms and public areas that left me feeling comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. This hotel is its unbeatable location, with the subway station conveniently located right outside the door. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore the city and get around with ease. Additionally, the surrounding area felt incredibly safe, providing peace of mind during my travels. So many shopping options nearby and a wide variety of dining choices right at your doorstep, there was never a shortage of things to see and taste during my stay. The only minor downside was the overpowering air freshener in the elevator lobby. Omg! it was terrible waiting for the elevator.

Hotel is in a very good location, walkable distance from interesting places. Hotel needs some maintenance, replace carpets, etc. Breakfast is good, however the area is small compared with hotel size and you need to reserve a time. Front desk Adrian and Paula were very helpful. Raul and the guys at restaurant were also very polite and attentive.

Great location
Great base for a trip to Madrid, quite close to the palace, cathedral, opera house, fabulous shopping and some great green park space. Madrid is a great city for site seeing, eating, drinking, shopping and just enjoying yourself

Staff was amazing. My wife and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary in Spain. Dear Hotel was a great choice. Very friendly people and they even gave us a list of dining options!

Great stay in Madrid
Dear Hotel is so well located to all of the major sites around Madrid. Just across the street from Plaza Espana - it’s easy to navigate back to whether by taxi or foot! Just a note - hotel has no ice to offer; must pay 10 euros. However there is a convenience store close by! The coffee in the room is a packet of instant. If you love coffee, pack your via Starbucks!! They just have one pillow per person but will bring you an extra if you ask! The wifi was a bit slow. It does not have an iron or a microwave in the room. It has small fridge and a water refill station at end of hallway! The room was small, but enough room for two big suitcases & 2 ppl. We had a deluxe room with tiny balcony on the 11 th floor. The shower was great and strong flow - even on a high floor. The bath towels were great & they offer a robe. The rooftop bar was great for winding down after exploring for the day. The sunset was beautiful from up there. If you want to go anywhere on the train ( Atocha station) be sure to buy ticket ahead. Trains fill up fast! Overall a great hotel, staff friendly and helpful and so easy to walk to places to explore.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel was in a good location. Most of the staff were nice but the staff from the bar were rude. The hotel had no ice machines and the rooms had no irons which I thought was unusual.

My wife and I stayed in Dear Hotel for a week in July 2023. We enjoyed the central location and easy subway access. There are many nice restaurants in the immediate area. The staff is very helpful and friendly, all speaking very good English. The rooms are small, as is normal for an inner-city hotel, but clean and well equipped.

We enjoyed a quick two night stay at Dear Hotel Madrid in a standard room with a terrace on the 7th floor. Room was small but well equipped, view was great and windows were very soundproofed. A/C worked well & mattress was comfortable. Only two king sized pillows on bed, fyi, for those who like multiple pillows (they’ll send up extras if asked). Terrace was a little small & terrifying so we didn’t sit out there but instead enjoyed looking out with the door open. Hotel itself is located in a busy area but easily walkable to the palace/Temple of Debod/theaters/tons of restaurants. Hotel carpet looking a little worn and lobby very no-frills, but we didn’t mind that. Rooftop bar was small but nice, as was fun rooftop plunge pool. Reception extremely friendly and helpful with setting up airport transfers, restaurant recommendations, and sending up an extra pillow to the room.

Perfect location for a friends’ retreat. We are four high school friends and luckily we found a conjoined two rooms to fit out needs. And.. it is 10 min walk to the palace, plaza mayor, and the shopping destinations off Gran Via. Metro stops for theee lines, 2,3, and 10 right outside of the hotel door. Very nice stay for us

A highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly (Beatriz was awesome during check in), the rooftop was a grear bonus to have, the room is spacious, and walkable from many tourist spots. The Gran Via is a great area to be in.

Awesome location and easy to get to. Metro in front of hotel. Clean, modern and comfortable. Overpriced breakfast not appealing though dining options are numerous in vicinity. Reasonably priced. I wound stay there again.
