"Leiligheten er fin enkel innredning men helt ok. Kjøkken utstyret er kun for enklere matlaging , bra med stekeovn og Micro. Beskrivelse om vad som inngår er dårlig, sengetøy og håndkler byttes en gang i uken, rengjøring må man gjøre selv, det er ingen støvsuger kun kost og mopp. Vaskemiddel må man også kjøpe, vi har vart her nå i 4 uker og kjøpt diverse ting man trenger for rengjøring. "First time ever we cut our losses and boarded a flight home 60 hours after arrival. This property high in the hills over a motorway in an area with few pavements which where not being dug up was a total rip off. We were expected to know it was up in the winding hills with 24/7 noise from the motorway and nearest supermarket 45 minute walk away. A taxi back in from there cost €15. Taxis up and down to Funchal approximately €20 a day. We never got any sleep from our arrival on Sunday until we...

"1st trip 2 stunning Madeira, organised accommodation ( flight & rental car) 2 weeks b4 arriving. The new villa is very spacious for 6 (no single beds). Kitchen & 2.5 bathrms are well equipped mostly (needs corkscrew, colander, more towels, outdoor furniture, but had dishwasher & laundry tablets). Expedia shows the villa in Funchal (it is not). "This is not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn’t have to be. Super staff, beautiful location on the edge of delightful little bay. Views to die for, pool, better than average breakfast. The furnishings are older, but not worn, and the place is very clean. Great value for money."

"We went to Madeira, Porto, and Lisbon for our honeymoons and stayed at four different hotels during our visit, and the Savoy Palace was far and away the best hotel we stayed at. The room and view were both incredible and we really enjoyed the rooftop pool area. We’d absolutely stay here again if we come back to Madeira."

"This was the absolute best experience we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everyone was friendly, helpful and warm. The hotel and facilities are top tier. The breakfast is amazing. And the rooms and accommodations are the best you could ask for. If you go to Madeira, this is an absolute must stay!"

"Check-in was very easy and it was a 20 minute ride from the airport. The breakfast buffet had all kinds of food available and I never went hungry. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a pretty good location. There are dining options within a ten minute walk and a small grocery store (SPAR) that is also a ten minute walk in case you forgot something. "
