Good place to stay for Seniors

Really great, quiet clean place. Staff was friendly and pleasantly attentative. No street or factory noise, and most guests left relatively early from this safe neighborhood. We will be staying again.

Nice

We only stayed 1 night to visit our kids in college. Everything for WIU was 5 mins away so that was very nice. The room was clean and a normal hotel room. Nothing spectacular but comfy and clean.

Nice Accommodations

I stayed 2 nights - friendly staff, clean & the room refrigerator was great with a separate freezer - great for longer stays. My only disappointment was the water was not hot - I tried it during different times of the day - lukewarm every time.

No frills but good price

This is a nice no frills hotel. It does need some updating. The room was clean & the beds were a bit more firm than we like but it was fine for an overnight stop. Not much for breakfast though. The staff was very friendly. Would stay again

The breakfast was simple and nice. Large waffle maker, yogurt and fruit. Apple juice and orange flavored drink also available. Breakfast is served in the lobby. Convenient location to WUI campus, on the same street and just 5 minutes away. Pictures for rooms I believe are generic for all Super 8 hotels on their site. I do not know if some of the rooms are updated, but the one we stayed in was clean but very dated. Not major but it would be so simple and inexpensive to update the decor.

EXCELLENT!

Great hosts, great service, very clean room, owner/manager runs a tight ship which is well reflected in the overall condition and experience of the Super 8. Seasoned owner/manager/front desk on premises. Light breakfast in the morning with FRESH breads, fruit, coffee, etc. There is an excellent restaurant conveniently located next door called "Z's" with a fantastic array of breakfast and lunch menu items. Great food, good owners who take equal pride in their food and service and cleanliness...hours of operation are 6am to 2pm. These two places are an excellent place to stay and eat for the $$ compared to what you'd pay elsewhere in Macomb. I have traveled all over the world and would not hesitate to stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham again.
