It was fine for what we expected. A place to rest while visiting Mackinaw. We didn't use it but the beach would be nice for families going for that reason. Front desk staff was nice and friendly. Very close to the ferry to the island. Beds were hard and not very comfortable. Low end. But seemed clean.

The staff was very nice. My only concern was there's still some sand on the bed sheet we slept on, but we got a room, and the view on the water front was amazing.

Rooms were clean and well stocked. The other hotels blocked a good view of the lake. Poor design on their part, but overall place is decent. I would go back.

Half the lights didnt work. Bed was hard. Thought it had a splash park and it wasnt open. Thought it had breakfast and it dont. Room was ok and rate was good. Wasn't the best hotel but wasnt the worse. Good for a good price.

The location was fabulous and front desk staff were incredibly kind. Room cleanliness left a little to be desired. Luckily, I had cleaning wipes with me from the first part of our trip so I as able to clean the toilet and sink area.

Very nice room! It looks updated and the indoor pool was nice. We had a suite on the second floor that had a balcony that looked out over Lake Huron it was very nice we even ate dinner one night on it. It was less than 5 minute walk to Arnold ferry to Mackinac Island no need to drive you’re vehicle anywhere and pay for parking. I would definitely stay here again next year if the price stays right!! The woman at the front desk very helpful and nice too

The front desk staff were very nice to us. However, we noticed first that the water park was still under construction without any notification. The room itself was very dirty and dusty, the ceiling of the bathroom had mold, and the blankets were stained and had holes in them. I wouldnt recommend using the pool for it was in poor shape and in need of a serious cleaning for there looked to be mold there too. The beach was only doable because they were cleaning up all the poop as we arrived. I will never stay here again.

The balcony off our room and being right on the beach was wonderful. The room was very clean. All the electrical outlets in our room did not work so we had no working fridge, microwave or coffee maker.

Ok generic stay place with helpful staff, room was a bit dirty and even a little bugs. Property was not that appealing, though it did have some convenient beach access. Would not really stay again. Property seemed like it could be improved to provide a nicer feel even in terms of lighting would make a difference in the sense of security and comfort. We had to fight to find places to plugin electrical devices.

Decent view but the hotel is kind of outdated and gross. In our room it looks like somebody just nailed some brand new pine over all the old stuff and left the old furnishing. There was no coffee cups so I had to use the plastic cups for water, our mattress was stained, and the AC sounded like a train running, not to mention that though pool area was closed off and nobody told us. The beds were pretty hard, not a huge point but I know I definitely need something a bit softer, and our room was filled with bugs.... Definitely was not worth the $375 that was charged for July 4th. Front desk staff was really nice.

This property had a few very good aspects. The location was excellent, near all the sites, good restaurants and beautiful scenery. It was right on the beach with a perfect lake view. Amazing sunrises. The room was large enough with nice beds and adequate space. However, there were some real negatives. The first room we were given had a toilet with not enough pressure to flush properly and a screen door to the patio facing the lake which was both ripped and stuck so it could not open or close all the way. The staff changed our room, which required extra moving on our part but was a welcome change. Both those things now worked. But, the new room did not have a working phone nor any hangers at all. Landline I can do without, hangers not so much. I requested hangers, was told I would receive them, never did. So, Iwent back to the office for a third time and was told there would be no hangers as the type needed were the ones eith permanent, circular, metal attachments and they had no more. End of story. After close to an hour of discussions, moving, more discussions and still ending up with an unresolved problem, I was not happy. Additionally, the patio was basic concrete with 2 plastic chairs and the steps up to the first floor were shredded, sand-filled carpet that were in need of replacement. Granted, it is difficult to keep beach property clean, but still... I loved the views and locations but would book elsewhere next time.
