The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the rooms are very clean. It is 2 miles from town, which makes itvery peaceful. The only drawback is the resort charges guests a fee to take the carriage in to and back from town. The only complementary tides are arrival and depature. Given the daily resort fee and distance to town, I would expect the carriage to be free. It is a lovely place to stay, just be prepared to either walk or pay to take the carriage ride.

The Inn at Stonecliffe is wonderful! All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The renovated facility is stunning, with each room’s decor unique. No detail was spared. We especially enjoyed talking with George, the manager at General Store, while getting a breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. Loved our stay here!

The Stonecliff Inn was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen or had the privilege to enjoy! The staff was wonderful, warm and efficient. They made sure everything was beautiful for our stay. The food on site at the Straits WAS SUPERB, plentiful , and lovely. The servers were very knowledgeable and helpful in our selections. The Luncheon Pizza oven staff was also warm and friendly and the food was delicious! The grounds, bikes, and wellness center were impeccable! I look so forward to returning again and again! The property was beautiful pretty and well kept, but the staff was phenomenal. Kind, helpful, caring! Above and beyond! My only negative would be the price of the food. I just couldn’t justify spending that kind of money on food. So, we opted for the chuck wagon. They had good food for a decent price. But, when we return - we will ultimately stay here again. I am in love with the experience. 💜

Quiet yet Hampton-rich vibes. Think summer-lake cottage meets wine-by-the-fire-pit luxury. The place feels tucked away and peaceful but with posh touches and elegant eateries. Totally worth the splurge. My wife took 100 pictures before we even unpacked, and honestly, I get it.

The facility and property were amazing…First Class! However, the transportation to and from Stonecliffe to downtown was in-frequent and sometimes hard to get. It’s a 30+min carriage ride and we often had to wait 20-30 mins to get a carriage.

This property is GORGEOUS and the rooms are nice. Not sure this place is worth the price for a couple of reasons. First, seems like they have staff issues. Short-handed often. Bickering among the employees. Stuff like that. But brand new and clean. Second, for a resort of this size and price surprised that only two places to eat and two small pools. Not as much "resort" stuff as I would suspect. Oh, and they will gouge you on transportation and you are very remote. Prepare to bike a lot. But a lot of promise and gorgeous, serene, quiet location.
