"I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel.
The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!!
The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...

"Beautiful hotel in excellent location ! Roaring river next to the property could be a bit lound for some but we loved it. Unfortunately both the bar and the restaurant were closed but the buffet breakfast on the top floor was great 😃

"Property was solid. Room was solid. The only thing is that the windows aren’t that insulated so you will hear outside if it’s loud. A lot of people traveling stay at this property, so it’s easy to find people to socialize with. "
