This was an OK Hotel. The breakfast is pretty barebones and there isn't really anything open too early in Aguas Calientes. My room looked out into the street and was pretty noisy, but late at night you had a great sound from the river. The hot water sometimes worked, and my toilet sometimes flushed. The real concern here was that even though I had paid online through expedia they tried to get me to pay when I checked in. Fortunately I only had mastercard and they don't accept mastercard. I was able to double check my records and refute this need for payment that I had already made. I had a pretty difficult time finding the hotel, but the town itself is pretty confusing.
This hotel is reasonably priced. Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not hot but they offered alot of variety of tasty bread, crackers and biscuits along with coffee and juices. There are lots of restaurants, convenience stores and souvenir shops in the immediate area. Nice square located right across the street to relax in. Friendly staff. Downsides are that this is hotel is located far up a hill and it can be very tiring to walk to when you get off the train and are weighed down with bags. I would not recommend this hotel to older guests or anyone with difficulty walking because of the location. The toilet was placed right next to the wall so when you sat down your right shoulder would literally be touching the wall. Very uncomfortable to sit in and if you have wide shoulders or are overweight you may not fit and have to sit sideways on the toilet. Wifi was not working when we were there but I have a suspicion that's probably common in Aguas Caliente not just this hotel.
