Expensive but could have been worse.
The location is convenient for sightseeing to to locations in Macau peninsula. For taipa transportation is needed. The staff had hard time understanding English but one staff understood enough to give directions to nearby shuttle bus. The stairs are very narrow and with no lift it is better to keep the luggage small. The bathroom was small but had necessary amenities. I mean for 60$ hard to expect more in Macau. Better to stay in China if possible. There are shuttle buses coming from the border everyday. The nearby location had construction ongoing so had to go around the block to enter the hotel. The TV had only 6/7 channels working. The internet was weak.

Overall it was ok. Do note that this place doesn't have a lif, thus you will have to carry your luggage up to the room, in our case the 3th floor. Room were clean generally. Location wise good. During my stay, i went all the way down to the lobby to ask for an extra pillow, as their pillow is too soft n flat to my liking. I was told to wait in my room and they will bring it up to me. I told the girl i don't mind waiting in the lobby and bring it up myself, saving her trip up to the third floor. But she insist that she will bring it up to my room. Ok so guess what, i waited for 2hour and no pillow seen. I eventually stack up my clothes and make it through the night. I assumed that they don't have any pillow available but please at least have some courtesy to inform me about that. There is even a inhouse phone that she can just call and inform me about the pillow.

The room and bathroom are clean. Everything needed by a tourist was provided for and there was always enough. However, The surroundings are not appealing since there is a lot of road construction going on. The shower curtain is short that the water spills on the floor. The room is so small.

Great convenient location, right across the street from Sofitel (and can use their shuttles from either the ferry pier or land border crossing). Room is pretty big considering it's in tiny Macau. I like the "kitchen" area where you can get tea or fill up your water bottle with ice cold water. The only thing is that hopefully you don't have heavy luggage because you will have to carry it up by stairs (my room was 4th floor)

Location for non-gamblers
Easy check in, pleasant staff and great location to see Macau and the people that make it what it is. 5-10 minute walk to Ruins and sooo many little gems to find along the way. If you do in fact want to gamble, all you have to do is cross the main road and boom, you're there. Bed was a little hard but nice comforter. Some jerk smoked a cigarette outside out door which bothered the hell out of my sleep but that is no fault to the hotel or staff.

Rather difficult to find. A sign outside in English would be helpful. I walked past twice without recognising the hotel. Even the number '5' did not look like a five to me Washing machine and dryer are available for free use, which is convenient

Nice room but too noisy.

Good location to old town and bus line
I booked this hotel only because it was the absolute cheapest in Macau when I was arriving. The hotel is near the Ponte 16 bus #26 stop to the airport and Taipa, etc. Very nice location in regards to walking to the old town for St. Paul's ruins. If you have any more than hand luggage, it will be a real pain to haul it up and down the stairs - there really is no elevator. There are some springs in the bed that you can actually feel as sharp points...Upon checkout, the staff member was not willing to drop off stamped postcards to a nearby post office box. I didn't think this would be such a hassle in such a small city...

Love this place!!!!
Everything is good and i love it!!!!! The bathtub is a little too small and there is no lift in this hostel. If you have heavy luggage, this will be a problem. I will definitely recommend this place!!!

Convenient and Clean Hotel
Very Convenient location. Everything is within walking distance. Staffs were very friendly and polite. Please note there is no elevator and you need to bring your own luggage upstairs. Our room was on 2nd floor and the staff was very nice and helped us to bring luggage to our room :) There were free shuttle bus from Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 Hotel, just across the street, to Outer Harbour. Room was small and cozy. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, Wi-fi ran fast. Overall, we were happy with our stay in Macau.

This hotel didn't have elevator. We took the bus 10 from ferry terminal to here. After arriving to the hotel, the staff told us we can use the free shuttle from Sofitel hotel which is very convenience to visit other casino area. This hotel is good for short stay.

The location is ok- its hard to find but you are near a major highway. There is not much around- a few convience stores and another hotel/casino with resturant. The staff are just great. They really went out of their way to help us. They do have English speakers on staff. They will also try to arrange taxi service for you. The room is nice- clean- good shower. The only issue is that every 30 minutes or so there was a noise (maybe a water pressure tank?) and so sleep was difficult. it could be that this was just near our room and the other rooms do not have this issue.

Great value
Nice location with eloquent English speaking staff. Senado is a few blocks away including the hotel hotspot (lisboa, wynn, mgm, star world). There is a nearby convenience store so food is not a problem. Landmark is SOFITEL, hotel is just across Sofitel. As per the room, it is very clean with excellent provisions like razor, shampoo, body wash, comb, toothbrush, blower etc. Bed is super comfy with thick sheets and immaculately clean comforter.

The hotel is clean, the location is ok but easy to get the Sofitel shuttle bus to the pier. It might be a bit difficult to find this hotel because there is no sign and the hotel itself locates at the corner of building behind other buildings.

Nice hotel, close to the sites
We stayed here for a night. Not as accessible as the other hotels, but you can get here via Sofitel shuttle from the Macau Outer Ferry Terminal. From Sofitel, it was just a short walk. The room was clean and the beds were surprisingly soft (previous experience with Macau and HK hotels were that beds were hard). We were told that no elevators going to the rooms, but there is an elevator going to the dining area. Not a hassle when we arrived, but would have been nice after walking all day. :) Breakfast was ok - cereals, bread, spreads and jams, coffee, tea. Nothing special but it was sufficient enough to last us until lunch. I think I will probably stay here again on my next visit.

I stayed in a triple room by myself. Thus, it was big enough for me. But it would be crowded for 3 people. No elevator goes to rooms, but hostel has elevator that serves breakfast room. 10 minute walk to Senado, the public square Breakfast was just cereal, toast and coffee.

I made a last minute reservation, and must have overlooked the part that said no elevator. Staff helped carry luggage to room at 3rd floor. Room was clean and ok. Breakfast was the minimum, toast and cereal. Then you were expected to wash your dishes.

You can call it a 5star lodge and not hotel. Its purely for guests who looking to just be there at night to sleep. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is good enough to start your day.

The 5footway.inn Project Ponte 16 is like a hostel rather than a more upmarket hotel or Casino Complex. You cannot eat or drink in your room but a 24 hour kitchen with coffee making plus free basic breakfast is available. The rooms are basic but clean and have a Television (local content only) and small bathroom with shower/bath/toilet facilities. I would recommend for a short stay and the location is 15 minute walk to Senardo Square and another 5 minutes to Lisboa Casino. My only complaint was finding the hotel as whilst it is directly opposite the Sofitel ponte 16 it is not obvious and does not have its name on the outside of the building but rather just inside the entrance door which is not really helpful. However I would recommend for basic low cost accommodation for a short stay.l

The room was very clean and very sparse, but it was OK with us. We really appreciated that the entire hotel is a non-smoking facility. It seemed it was newly renovated, so it was quite clean and pleasant. The location is a bit out of the way, tucks away in an alley.
