I under up in another facility cause I didn’t see myself sleeping there. The place was clean however I just didn’t like the neighbourhood and the fact the door of the room was outside, that didn’t make me feel safe so I left. The staff were nice though!

It is an OK place for a stop on the way at a very reasonable rate. Staff was helpful too. I know you can't complain much at this price point but a shower where anybody larger than a 5 year old will find it impossible to even turn inside. Couple of feet extra in the bathroom would make this a much better experience.

France swiss engagements
Temperature at Lyon was about 30°C and a working airconditioned room was a necessity. My room was very clean also note worthy is the black bi-lingual (French & English) receptionists was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights stay at a fraction of what i would have paid at Geneva!

Get what you pay for.
If it is a cheap bed/ shower you want overnight, then for price you cannot complain. Parking ok and restaurant 10 feet away with genuine 15% discount. Rather out of main area, but that is why it is a fair price. Just about swing a cat if you needed to. Clean but slightly tired. Value for money though. Just 5 mins off A7 if that matters.

Low cost, clean budget hotel.
This is a budget hotel like Motel 6 in the USA. I have stayed in two different Premiere Classe hotels in France and they both look the same (inside and out). A great low cost room with a bathroom and modernized furnishings, clean and functional. Do not expect a lot of service, but the staff is available when needed. Be extra careful with your belongings. Free parking and Wi Fi.

An oldish not terribly appealing and difficult to find hotel but with a welcoming face at reception and a basic but fresh breakfast We found the bed comfy, room small and beware that although advertising non smoking rooms they do smell of cigarettes. Very patient receptionist let us choose a room that we were okay with

Regarding the accessibility of the directional arrows are set up in the town of Tassin and a large sign at the roundabout motorway exit, our staff can if the case to remote control. OK for a pit stop
This is a low cost place, so the free wifi was good, so was the (tiny) bathroom, and the bed was comfortable enough. On the less good side, the walls are thin, the pillows meagre, the space in the room (esp by N American standards) was cramped. The breakfast had great coffee and a good spread of cold things like cereal, bread, cheese, yogurts. The customer toilet by the breakfast restaurant in this hotel is no longer available to customers, it's now staff only. Reception is open 24/7, with a night watchman after 9.00pm but he can check you in.

Cheap and cheerful budget hotel but ideal for us
Stayed in this hotel many times when visiting family in the area. It's cheap and cheerful and the rooms are small and some sleep up to 3 people (1 in a bunk) but serves our purpose of just needing a bed for the night. Always find it clean and we actually find the beds quite comfortable. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very busy during the week as lots of contractors seem to use it, so it can be difficult to find a parking spot after 9pm - lots of white vans - not a problem at weekend though. Traffic noise can be disturbing so we normally ask for a room on the side facing the campanile hotel which is further away from the nearby busy roads. The past 2 times, the 3rd bed has not been made up, which is a bit annoying, but the bedding was available in the room. There is free wi-fi which is easy to access and reliable. Breakfast is ok and fairly standard.

Basic yet comfortable.
Great location from the main roads and ample free parking. 20min walk into Lyon and to the river. Simple but efficient breakfast. Ideal for a night's brief stay.

Great for a 1+ nights
It was a nice and cozy place. I stayed for one night and it wasn't bad at all. They had ac/heater, bathroom with a shower a sink, outlets next to the bed and night table. The only downside was that they do not provide shampoo and toothpaste but it's not a big deal for the price. If you are taking a taxi or uber, just be wary it's a bit of an odd area. It's nice they have an automated check in for people who come in late (also they have someone who is at the front desk late at night).It was a nice stay for one night and I would definitely take it again if I was traveling abroad.

You get what you pay for
The room was clean & cheap and the automatic check-in worked this is pretty much everything positive you can say about this no-frills place. The rooms are very small, especially the shower was nearly unusable for an average male (6'1) and the area around the hotel looks very depressing. You better have a rental car to get in and out of this place.

Nice budget hotel
A good hotel for people on a budget. Tidy and clean rooms. Staff were courteous and helpful. Receptionist/Manager Thierry was very helpful with regards to getting directions and other routine services. Being a budget hotel the rooms/bathrooms are tiny and there isn't much of a communal area. It provided the basics and the staff in reception were extremely friendly and helpful. A few things to watch out for though: - The hot water ran out after about 10.30am on both days - The cleaners are extremely irritating. They started harassing us from 8.50am and kept coming back after we'd turned them away once. The last thing you need after a late night! We could hear them constantly banging on everyone else's doors and getting turned away too. It was as though they just fancied trying their luck by coming in 3 hours early. - Our room was very small. It wasn't really a problem but my friend is pretty small and he still found it a bit tight using the bunk. I'm 6'3" and certainly wouldn't have wanted to try sleeping up there! - The wifi is very slow but it's better than nothing. Happy enough overall though considering the price. They just need to sort their cleaners out as that was absolutely infuriating.

Convenient and cheap
Easy to access from the motorway and quite easy to get into old Lyon for a meal in the evening. Go down the hill, but steep climb back up if you are not too mobile. There is a bus that takes you to Metro station and then it is one stop in. Room was clean warm and fine for the one night we stayed. Just what you want from a budget hotel

Great value for money.
I travel regularly from Cannes to Paris to stay with my family and Lyon is the perfect stop over location. This hotel is perfect for my needs. Friendly staff, inexpensive, breakfast at 5 euros is copious. The Campanile hotel is opposite and I use the 15 % reduction offered by the Premiere Classe for my evening meal. They accept dogs too, so my little companion is welcome.

Maybe this hotel is not the best hotel you've stayed or will stay, but it is worth the money you pay for it. The check in is 24 hours pretty much, the parking is not a problem, they serve breakfast for 5 euro which fills you up. One night stay on when you travel. Good budget place for anyone.

This is a budget hotel. I expected a small clean en-suite room for a 1 night stop over. The basin was cracked and the concertina door was not operating properly. None of the rooms had any hot water, which after driving all day, I was looking forward to a hot shower before dinner. The receptionist spoke very little English and could not explain when the hot water would be back on. Apparently there was no hot water all day and she didn't seem to care when it would be back on. Very disappointed.

Great deal for the price!
This hotel/motel is great for a couple or a single person staying a few nights. We were 3 adults and it was squishy! The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful. The bathroom is similar to a camping trailer bathroom in size and feel (plastic floor/wall) but adequate. The simple breakfast was great and you can get a discount on your meals if you eat next door at their higher end hotel/restaurant (same family chain). I would recommend this hotel if you have a vehicle or don't mind a steep hike up/down the hill to the bus stop.

This is an OK place, if you are not touring in the area. We were just driving through the Lyon area on our way to Switzerland. It was very cramped. There was very little room for the bed, our bags and ourselves. The bed was not very soft- so we did not sleep well. It was pretty noisy due to the bar/restaurant in the hotel across the parking lot.

Easy overnight stay for a trip to Lyon
We stayed here one night on our way to Lyon. It is small but clean, close to the highway and close to a supermarket and other stores. There is a self check-in machine outside for after hours check-in, but we had to go to another building (20 meters) to collect our room keys..
