Top notch B&B in every respect. Apart from all the usuals (cleanliness etc) the rooms are large and beautifully decorated with large en suite bathrooms, the breakfast exceptionally nice and the hosts charming. Highly recommended.

This is quite THE best Bed and Breakfast we have stayed in and has resulted in this, our 2nd, visit. Standards throughout are exceptionally high and Fraser and Maria, the owners, are an absolute delight and make you feel so very welcome. We shall continue to recommend and most definitely return. I had a wonderful stay! The room was ever spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the space feel even more welcoming. What stood out to me the most were the thoughtful little details around the place. For example, the shower head is thoughtfully positioned facing the wall, so when you turn on the water, you don’t get splashes unexpectedly. Such a small but considerate touch that really show how much the host cares about the guest experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

Excellent accomodation

A lovely BnB. The manager and staff were friendly and very helpful. We could not fault the accomodation or comfort. Breakfast was tailored to suit and delicious.

Outstanding Bed and Breakfast

Highfield is an absolutely outstanding B&B. Fraser and Maria are excellent hosts nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are modern and very clean with lots of little extras provided. Breakfast has so much choice. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!!

Friendly welcome, very clean and well appointed accommodation. Beds comfortable, fan in room as quite warm during our stay. Great breakfast, quality ingredients and nothing too much. Everything you could need for a weekend away!

Really recommend this B&B

Lovely couple who own and run this B&B, very welcoming and made to feel at ease through out our 4 night stay. Our room was a good size, bed was amazingly comfortable and shower was great too, and the breakfasts on all four mornings were spot on delicious, there was also a daily little chocolate treat that went down well with a cup of tea :) Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable and relaxing :)

Had the best night sleep I've ever had in a B&B here. The room was immaculate, modern, and we were provided with everything we could possibly need in terms of toiletries and drinks. The breakfast included was very generous and exceptionally well cooked with quality ingredients. The location is a short walk from the main high street where there are plenty of options to eat too. I would definitely stay again!

Easy to find, great location, rooms fabulous , bed comfy, bathrooms perfect, great storage . All the usual accessories you'd expect from a quality B&B, ( I'd argue it's better than a B&B) and finally , the owners not only Cooked a fabulous breakfast, but were fantastic hosts as well. 10/10

Wow!! This bed and breakfast was amazing!! The hosts were incredible and the breakfast was outstanding. Super comfortable beds and modern and awesome. Highly recommend!!! We stayed here prior to our cruise. The nearby restaurants/pubs served amazing English fare.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Rooms clean and smart. Within easy walking distance of the town centre. Lovely, freshly cooked breakfast. Only an overnight stay but really enjoyed and appreciated the break.

Excellent service and beautiful b&b

Our stay at Highfield was nothing short of excellent. The rooms were presentable, spacious and comfortable. Fraser, Maria and the rest of the staff were attentive and could not do enough for us. Fraser even dropped us off at the venue for the wedding we attended.

Very tastefully decorated, tasty breakfast with generous helpings too. Everything spotless and exactly as we would wish. Lots of banter with the host, making the stay real fun. EV charging for those who require.

8 Highfields is a fabulous and friendly boutique b&b! Fraser and Maria and staff and family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. nothing too much trouble. The building is immaculate and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is huge! (and delicious) Nice location off the main drag means you get the benefit of being in the centre without the bustle (plus parking right outside) Would absolutely stay again!
