"Great hotel about 15 min walk to center of old city. Parking next door which was wonderful as we had a car. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and hot options. We ate at the hotel restaurant on 2 nights which was amazing and easy as we were exhausted. "

"We liked the funky vibe of the area, especially the weekend jazz happenings in the street. It was only a 15 min walk to Piazza Maggiore, for many tourist activities. We also enjoyed the rain shower head, after some very hot days!!"

"Spacious, comfortable rooms. Helpful and friendly staff at reception and breakfast. Terrific breakfast but limited seating. Not necessarily a problem if you let them know when you would like breakfast. Central location across from a study hall in the university quarter but there were drug dealers operating at the end of the block. Police were every morning but the dealers returned in the afternoon. We felt uncomfortable."

"Amazing location! Walk down a half block to all the shopping and monuments in Bologna. Yet the building is quiet and feels secluded. The best of both worlds. Clean and simple rooms with all the basic amenities needed (espresso machine, mini fridge, bathroom supplies). Pull out couch in our room was not comfortable for the adults but the kids had no complaints as they fell asleep immediately after a day of walking about. "Last minute booking and I was treated to a gorgeous room with a balcony on the edge of Piazza Maggiore. Fantastic location! The place wasn’t fancy with front desk, buffets etc, but perfect for a solo traveller wanting a local experience. Breakfast “Italian style” is included at the nearby cafe. The Piazza is noisy, but the windows are soundproof and you wouldn’t know there was a sole outside. I’d stay here again. "
