Hi Alastair. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We use an online guest registration form which is sent out three days before the guest arrives. This is to reduce the time spent at check-in as well as cut down on the amount of paper we use. As it states on the form, we are required by law to ask for most of the information. The only additional information we ask for is your vehicle registration details for our car park monitoring system; and your time of arrival as we are not staffed full-time and want to make sure someone is available to check guests in. Since we implemented the online form two years ago, we have had nothing but positive feedback about it.

Thank you for your comments and the opportunity to respond.1. The tarpaulins are on the roof over a leaking skylight which is in the middle of being repaired. The night you stayed at the Centre we had unusually heavy rain and strong winds, which caused them to blow around.2. With the exception of our family room, all of the beds in the rooms are twin beds. Sometimes rubbish bags are left by the garden gate for short periods of while the housekeepers are cleaning guest rooms in the morning. These are then taken out to the bin store when they have finished all of the cleaning.3. As for the cost of the rooms, we have had to increase our prices due to the increased cost of energy as well as the recent rise in the National Living Wage. This was the first increase in the accommodation prices for several years.

We have arranged for a skip to dispose of the stuff that has been dumped on site (most of which is from shower cubicles that are being replaced). The woman who greeted you admitted she did not make a good impression and apologises. I hope that despite all of this you enjoyed your time in Ludlow.

Hi Simon, so glad you enjoyed your stay. Many cyclists stay with us and we are happy to provide complimentary bike storage. That's a good point about the TV, but the current layout of the family room limits the options for where we can place the TV. When we next redecorate the rooms, that is something we will consider.
