"Beautiful historic property. Located across the street from the lake in Lucerne. Very walkable to downtown Lucerne. The best part was the wonderful staff. They worked hard to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend this if you like older historic properties with a lot of character. We loved our room with the balcony."

"We had a great stay at this hotel, especially the bar staff was wonderful. The food was also very good, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch relaxing, enjoying a drink and dinner. Beautiful area, walking distance to the esplanade is a just across the street. This hotel is just out of the busy tourist area which we loved. "Family owned hotel and restaurant was a nice touch. Located just outside of Luzern downtown and reachable by train which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Note the train only comes once an hour so plan accordingly. Several walkable restaurants nearby. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and provided travel adapters for free. Breakfast was a nice spread including eggs, cheese, meats and other items. Hotel was very quiet and well kept. Great base for Luzern and the area. "
