Wake up early to witness orange-robed monks collecting alms along streets lined with French colonial architecture and gilded Buddhist temples. Climb Mount Phousi for sunset views, then explore the night market where local artisans sell textiles and join a traditional Lao cooking class near the Mekong River.
Excellent stay. All of the staff were wonderful. A little out of town but we loved the peaceful river setting. Shuttle into town and the airport. Nice new pool. Will definitely stay here again.

It is a beautifully designed and decorated, comfortable, small hotel (30 rooms) set in a beautiful, peaceful garden. The staff are very helpful and attentive and clearly keen for guests to enjoy their hotel and Luang Prabang. The Lao food we ate in the hotel was very well prepared and delicious. And the hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the UNESCO World Heritage areas of the city.

Arrived at the resort @ 9:30 am as my flight was early.
Being a first timer to Luang Prabang and unfamiliar with the foodie place,we proceed to the resort's restaurant for our breakfast, we were charged USD10/per head, since technically, we are still not a registered guest.
After breakfast, we went to the resort lobby to check whether we can check-in earlier <check-in time is at 2pm, which is common in the hotel / resort industry>

It's within walking distance of the main streets and has an enormous amount of dining options. The room was spotless with a fantastic view of the river through a wall-sized window—plenty of light with comfortable beds.
But the service and attention were the best features!
