"The Cardrona is a rustic gem, hidden behind the iconic front are a bar, restaurant, garden and multiple rooms. Our one "Roaring Meg" was made from what must have been two older very old rooms but done very well. Clean bathroom with good shower etc a bedroom with comfortable bed and a radiator that works! "Wow! An amazing experience at a beautiful property, with outstanding service. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels in NZ, and this was truly the highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the room is beautiful. But the staff are what make the place really special. "We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. "Das Hotel ist etwa 15 Minuten oder ca. 7 Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Das Hotel befindet sich neben dem Flughafen und hat um das Hotel herum nicht viel zu bieten. Dennoch ist es ein schönes und ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Für Geschäftsreisende perfekt, für einen längeren Aufenthalt in Queenstown würde ich eher ein Hotel in der Stadt empfehlen"

"Received an upgrade from an Executive Studio to a 2 bedroom apartment with Mountain views. Much appreciated! It’s a fairly new building so everything is in great working order. It’s close to restaurants, shops and only a 20min walk to the airport. There are dedicated parking spaces in front of the building but be early to grab one of these. Would absolutely stay here again."

"The cottage was roomy and gorgeous. Bed was divine. Kitchenette has basic tools for make a simple meal, although the cafe/bar also offers delicious salads, pizza, and platters. The tasting included in your booking is really wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the vineyards and grounds after everyone left in the evening and seeing the sunset on the hills. We were biking, so it was a convenient starting place to the day."
