"We had a wonderful stay at Ferme de la Rançonnière and would absolutely recommend it. The property is beautiful, full of history, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the grounds were peaceful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Normandy landing beaches while still enjoying a quiet countryside setting. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also very good. "When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...

"Good location for visiting WWII sites. Outside of city center, close to main roads. No elevator, so this means lifting your luggage by your self up the stairs if your room is on the first or second floor."

"Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special."

"Die Lage ist einfach überragend. Man kann den Mont Saint-Michel bequem zu Fuß erreichen und hat quasi einen direkten Blick auf den Michel, ohne weit laufen zu müssen. Der große, kostenlose Parkplatz ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Unterkunft für alle, die den Mont Saint-Michel unkompliziert besuchen möchten."

"Siamo stati bene, camere silenziose, parcheggio gratuito, macchinetta del caffè in camera, ben collegata con il centro città attraverso il T2 e tanti servizi in zona. Apprezzata la formula del menù al ristorante con buona cucina e prezzi contenuti, non abbiamo avuto necessità di cenare altrove. Unica piccola pecca: ci hanno assegnato la camera disabili e spesso per fare la doccia, il bagno si allagava. Personale molto cortese."

"My family LOVED this apartment. We were only there for one night but wished we were staying longer! You walk into a small door off the city wall and enter into a place you want to live. It is decorated perfectly with ample room to spread out and be cozy. The location is perfect looking over the wall, accessing the main street or just watching the tourists go by! The only thing I would like to give visitors a heads up regarding is that you're are above the main street which is fantastic until...

"We stayed at Hotel Gabriel in July as a family of 5, three teen boys. The 'family room' included a queen bed and a loft with beds for the boys. The ladder to the loft was steep but it was ok since our kids are older. The room did not have a/c, only a large floor fan and we kept the one window open when we were in the room. The hotel itself is basic. Nothing fancy, but good for a one night stay that was very close and convenient to Mont Saint Michel. The shower/tub combo was a rare treat...
