"This hotel is aged. Pain peeling, furniture faded and knocked and carpets from a bygone era. Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. The bed base on the floor with a thin mattress atop a 15cm high base. You don't so much step out of bed when you get above a certain age, as roll out. The bed sagged to so didn't provide comfort. " This is a wonderful place. The village is just amazing with superb views over the mountains and amazing architectural features. The interiors of the hotel are a wonderful mixture of old original features and added modern touches to ensure comfort. The food in the restaurant is also very good. It’s a hotel which has been in the same family for years and years and this really adds to the experience. Highly recommended. "
