"Best hotel stay in our 12 day cross Dixie trip!!!! This hotel is practically brand new, beautifully appointed, easy to get to from I-65, in a great AL town. The room was super spacious, with a chaise and ottoman for reading or movie watching. The bathroom was spectacular, with ample quartz countertops, and an oversized shower. Great water pressure, and luxurious glass doors. It was such a treat, and we would most definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Athens, AL!!!"

"I loved the staff. They were very kind and helpful. We stayed two nights and were under the impression that we would have room cleaning during the day. We came back to no new towels or room cleaned. I was a little disappointed in that. I had to send my husband to get towels for us while I was in the shower."

"Park is wherever there is parking available - rooms are OK I guess part of what is to be the charm is the falling down walls ( bubbling of plaster) that do not need to be fixed. It really is just a bed nothing more. Noise is unbelievable from the Florbama and every person talking on the street or car driving by. "

"If you book with this hotel, make sure you specify you have a pet. I did not when I booked, assuming this was a pet friendly hotel. The hotel is pet friendly to a certain degree. The attendant who assisted me said the property only had 6 to 7 pet friendly rooms. The rest of the rooms had carpet. Anyway, the attendant accommodated my request for the pet friendly room. In my opinion, the room was overpriced and you could hear the people who stayed above me. Learning lesson for me, I will NEVER stay there again!!!"
