Coffee was terrible and for the money they offer nothing for breakfast. So many other places offer some kind of breakfast at no charge. Parking is tight but manageable. It is a very clean hotel.

Easy access to I-71

We picked the location primarily for our parents and its close proximity to our daughter’s wedding venue. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. My only wish was for breakfast, as there was nothing easily accessible for our elderly parents. But overall, we would consider staying here again.

Nice suite.

Conveniently located for our trip. Staff was friendly, and our suite was nice - it looked over the historic water tower, because the hotel next door had been torn down. We only stayed one night but the suite had everything we'd have needed for a longer stay.

We found the reception warm and welcoming as we were introduced to view all the amenities The hotel staff were pleasant kind and understanding as they spoke clearly and listened to my preferences overlooking the Ohio River and the White Tower museum which put us on the 4th floor in a room that spotlessly cleaned. Complete with kitchenette, and fridge with ice maker the water pressure was amazing in the enormous bathroom and shower and the beds were very comfortable I can't say enough we will make sure to come here again on our next stay in Louisville, Kentucky

The Hotel was absolutely great and super clean.Carlos checked my husband and I in and he was super professional, polite and helpful.We were a little disappointed that the microwave was not working in our room, but everything else was great! Thank you Candlewood Suites.

This is a decent hotel. But the exterior and surroundings are a bit drab and could use some continued update to landscaping, outside lighting and more neighboring businesses for gas /convenience and dining. Otherwise its a decent. Also, because this is a "Suites" type hotel, there isnt a commons area that serves a continental breakfast , which I think would be a good option to have.

Room was clean but A/C wouldn’t adjust (stayed @ 77°), broken cabinet doors, shower/tub would produce about 50% thru shower head. Fire alarm went off @ 9p and had us outside for a bit. Price is good but temper expectations. Staff were all very nice (we didn’t voice any concerns either).

Even though the property is fairly new, there were problems with the room. The heater unit sounded like crickets on steroids all through the night due to bad fan, and the toilet rocked on the ground and wasn't securely installed. There is also no breakfast offered. It was a good rate, and a good location for our quick 1 night stay.

Very clean and comfortable, easy trip downtown

Great place just outside of downtown with ample free parking, right next to a gas station. Small shop on-site although it seemed to be closed much of the time, maybe only morning hours? The room was extremely clean which is saying a lot for someone who travels with lysol wipes and their own bedding, the fact that it was clean even for me is impressive. Fridge is full size and countertop is enough for cooking so for a week+ staying in louisville this was very convenient to grocery shop and be very comfortable. I saw many work trucks and lots of people up and out early 5-6am so I didn't hear any late partying or any noise really. All in all for the price, how quick and easy it was to get to downtown, free parking, cleanliness, amenities in the room this hotel would be a repeat if i ever needed to go back to the city
