The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from our balcony. Positioned in the heart of the lake, with the majestic mountains as a backdrop, it felt like we were in paradise. "We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bellavista in Menaggio, Lake Como, Italy. The location was fantastic to explore the local Italian villages, and the city of Menaggio was delightful! The Hotel staff was very helpful and informative. We had panoramic balcony views from our rooms, providing an excellent Lake Como view! The location was close to the Ferry terminal, providing easy access to Verena, Bellagio, and Como during our stay. We had a fantastic meal the last night at the hotel restaurant. Of particular note, we had a great experience with Christiana, a local server and waitress. She was most helpful and courteous to us during our stay. This hotel is highly recommended to others! "

"We just stayed one night - the owners collected us from the train station which was helpful with a lot of luggage and a wheelchair. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable for us 3 adults, with an elevator for easy accessibility. As the room was on the top floor there were skylights with windows and blinds that could be electronically opened. There were plenty of other windows, with a great view to the mountains, but you need to bend a little to see through them due to the sloping ceiling. A few extra pillows for sleeping would have been nice, perhaps we could have asked though. Food was lovely in the restaurant, perhaps a bit expensive but I think that's typical of Switzerland. A beautifully decorated hotel and it's a shame we couldn't stay a few more days. "

"In the quiet town of Vezio, it’s a great place. Rita and Kirsty make you feel like you are staying at a B and B. It’s a 10 minute walk downhill to Varenna. The 20 minute hike up can be challenging, but the hotel will get a cab for you if you don’t want to hike up. Highly recommend "
