Very clean and nice. They held our luggage until checkin. Lots of eating places and shopping close by. We took an early shuttle they offered to airport. It took 3 minutes! Of course wasn’t much traffic at 5:39 AM
I only stayed for one night due to early morning flight at LGB airport. It was easy everything. The staff was extremely nice. My room was clean. I had a good stay overall.
Nice areas nice rooms everyone friendly.
Shower water was Luke warm.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Pluses: Comfortable bed, clean room, new carpet in hall. Close to many restaurants.
Minuses: airport noise, neighbor noise and parking charge that was not immediately apparent. A sign is there, but it's easy to miss, and the clerk never said anything. I wouldn't stay here again for those reasons.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. The airport shuttle was quick and the driver was very friendly. There is a nice choice of restaurants that are walkable and a Whole Foods nearby. I would definitely stay again.
I booked it when I landed due to a missed connection on my flight itinerary. Easy check in and I arrived in time to order dinner. It was made quickly, and they had a good amount of options
The staff was very rude. Didn’t provide us with the room we paid for and said it was what I get for booking through a third party. Finally they gave me a new room which ended up being the room I paid for. If Marriott has an agreement with Expedia their customers shouldn’t have to go through a run around to get what they paid for. I contacted Expedia and got no where. I’m very disappointed with the lack of customer service I received through Marriott and Expedia. Still waiting for some sort of compensation!
By the way, this was our first stay at Marriott and our last. Not impressed at all.
I have stayed at this Marriott a couple of times now. Its fairly clean and you have several options for dining within the same parking lot or on the backside with several eateries within whats called The Hangar. Note for coffee drinkers - Starbucks is in the same parking area as the hotel. Staff was hit or miss. Person who checked us in had a bit of an attitude, even with trying to joke with her. She is the only one who would not wish anyone a good day as you walked past her. Every one else were quite pleasant.
Room - the deadbolt part of the door would automatically set itself whenever opening the door. We noticed it trying to leave our room for the evening, and figured out how to fix that. Unfortunately, when we returned we didn't realize it and had our door not shut all the way due to that deadbolt being auto set. We didn't notice until around 4am.
The stand where the ice bucket was placed is glued to the closet so we were unable to move it as it blocked half of the 2 available outlets on that wall. Design fail.
Mini fridge didn't work.
