Park at the National Trust Longshaw Estate and take a walk down to the brook but wear sensible shoes as its hilly and uneven and you may need to hop across stones. Taken from Ashopton Viaduct on the A57 Snake Pass Road, nice views back towards Fairholmes Visitor Centre from which we set off on a circular 5.5 mile walk. This is just about halfway now and still a nice day, with views in all directions. Nice!
