"Beautiful and historical "

"Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Maya! I have been reading the reviews before I left and they were mixed, however, in reality, everything was wonderful! When we checked in at 10PM, we noticed that our room safe was not operational. We talked to the front desk and they sent a repairman within 10 minutes! The room itself was a bit dated but very nice! (They are updating the hotel section by section) It was also surprisingly quiet. We had people knocking and we couldn't hear it. In terms of the facilities: We used the bar right off the bat as well as for morning cappuccinos and the bartender was amazing and very attentive! We also had a few meals in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the services was quick and attentive. The hotel also has a wonderful pool and hot tub, which was a lovely touch. All in all, where possible, I will be trying to stay at Hotel Maya again!"
