"The staff were great, the breakfast was spectacular and there was ample parking. We have previously stayed here many years ago and the rooms are a bit dated. They are clean however. I would recommend staying at this hotel."

"Great location within walking distance of dozens of pubs, restaurants and shops. Central location makes it easy to map out landmarks or historical sites all around St. John's or the Avalon coast in its entirety. The hotel itself IMHO....is a landmark....its tastefully decorated and stylish...nothing but iconic portraits of blues, folk and rock legends and their music playing all day long throughout...especially if you love the " Stones". Our room had a photo of a young Mick Jagger & James Brown hung directly were the elevator doors open. The room itself was spotless....comfortable bed, sofa and great curbless shower with overhead rain shower to cascade over you. The Jag ranks amongst the top of any of my hotel stays anywhere...upon returning to St. John's, undoubtedly well be back here. De"

"Our stay was pretty good. The meals were excellent at the pub. the only issue was the bed it was an old mattress and not at all level the one side of it was sagged and when laying on that side felt like you were gonna roll off the last time we stayed the bed was not at all like this"
