The property was very clean and convenient. The bus stop was right out the front door. It was the first leg for all my excursions. Would certainly stay again.

Very good stay
The staff was friendly and polite. The pub and the room were very cozy! Only a few minutes away from Tower Bridge and the Tate Modern, it was the perfect location for us! The prices at the pub are a bit expensive but the room was pretty cheap, so it evens out I guess. Would definitely recommend.

Cute room rental above the Grange pub
Cute rooms on top of the Grange pub. Easy access after hours. Shared bathrooms, but enough there were no issues. Very clean!

Lovely pub with delicious food and comfy beds.
The food was amazing! I had braised duck leg, crispy pork belly with beet root salad, and mushroom soup. Absolutely phenomenal. My wife and son both had the burger and loved them. The room was comfy for three of us with plenty of space and the loo/shower is shared, which was fine with us as it was always clean. Matt corresponded by email promptly and Harry was a great server at the bar/restaurant. We commented to each other that we wished we'd spent our whole stay at The Grange (but they were closed for the three days prior to our stay for much deserved vacation). We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to London. Absolutely superb.

Great place, perfect location, lovely park across the road for a sunny day. Great service, friendly staff and great food. They have a beer garden, tables outside at the front and a pizza oven. I had the minted lamb one and it was lovely. It is a five minute walk from Bermondsey tube, so it was easy peasy to head into town. The rooms are basic, but all is clean and tidy and am not for stupid frills. For me, it is all about good food and wine and a clean bed. The bathrooms are shared, but all clean and tidy and there was never a queue. :-) There were plenty of clean towels and there was shower gel and shampoo there. I could not fault the place at all and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Very happy and will deffo be back next time I am in the smoke. :-)

The place served it's purpose, pretty Central location for the price. Shared bathroom which is fine however the towel provided was rather small and would not go round me so meant keeping my back to the wall when going between the bathroom and my room. There was a scent to the bedding which I think I'd say was a kitchen smell, like grease. Was comfy enough and did sleep ok. Also no tea bags in the brewing area.

THE BARMAN WAS VERY NICE THE ACTUAL PUB HAS BEEN UPDATED SO IT WAS A BIT OF A LETDOWN FOR US. THE MANAGER OR OWNER SEEMS UNORGANIZED AND HAS A BIT OF A TEMPER WE FOUND OUT. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING OUT THE FRONT DOOR SO BECAUSE OF THE WIND I LIT MY CIG PUSHED THE DOOR OPEN...AND IT WAS LOCKED ...SURE ENOUGH THE MANAGER WALKED IN AS I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO...AND I SAY I FELT LIKE A 5 YEAR OLD GETTING IN CRAP. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

Clean, convenient, excellent fit for purpose!
I formerly lived in the neighbourhood of The Grange, and it is a favourite pub of mine, so I was interested, when visiting friends in the area to discover if the sleeping arrangements were suitable in the event I would be visiting again. The Grange lived up to my expectations entirely; it is clean and comfortable, with excellent bathroom facilities (not en-suite, but that matters very little to me), and a very efficient coffee station on each floor (which is all I need for breakfast). As a place to stay overnight on short visits to the general Tower Bridge / Bermondsey area, I recommend it very highly!

Amazing value
This place is a steal in London. A bit outside of center town, but very easy access to public transportation. The place itself is clean and plenty of room. Plus, you are actually in a genuine British pub. Shared bathrooms, but clean and plenty of products.

Photo's very good of rooms. All in order. Found it to be exactly as I expected. Shampoo, soap in shower. Clean towels in rooms. I travel with my own plug adapter so you will need one for electronics. Complimentary coffee.

Good place. Cool pub, nice atmosphere, good safe area as a lone, female traveller and didnt feel out of place eating and drinking in the pub. felt easy and comfortable. Was a hot night and room was very hot when I arrived and had to leave the window open which was over pub garden,though a great place to drink and have pizza from the oven in the garden it was noisy and went on till about 12.30pm, but no later. Slept well and the room very comfortable with a bathroom next door. Had to run the shower for ages in the morning till it ran warm though, by which time had started to wash in the sink!

What you get here is real value for money, 65£ for a reasonable twin room in London, can't go wrong. The menu downstairs is excellent & well priced. Well kept beer & friendly staff. I'll come again!

Quality, affordable hotel in a decent area
Overall, this is a great option for a night or two in London if you don't mind taking the Underground/bus to get downtown. The rooms are plain but fine enough, with a tv, shelving, and a nice bathroom down the hall. The beds were just a bit uncomfortable. The area isn't exactly the hub of London, but it feels safe and comfortable and it's within walking distance of the Tower Bridge and surrounding area, and 10-15 minutes away from the Bermondsey Underground station. Matthew is a great host, and accommodated us despite an early arrival time. There were some late night commotion in the room next door, which was a bummer, but not the fault of the hotel at all. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially for the price.

Good value, nice pub
Really good value hotel for London.. room was pretty standard but pub was great and really good atmosphere. It's likely I'll stay here again. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful ozzys . 10-15min walk to tube station which was still pretty central but that was fine by me!

Terrible guesthouse The most uncomfortable mattress I've ever attempted to sleep on. The old fashioned sash window, was extremely draughty. Unable to lock the bathroom door. Had instructions in front of fire fighting equipment

In der Nacht, die wir in The Grange Pub verbracht haben fand eine private Feier statt, die zu unserem Leidwesen nicht ganz lautlos verlief. Verständlich, dass in einem Pub gefeiert wird, aber für diese Nacht hätte the Grange keine Reservierungen annehmen sollen.

Fantastic location for the purpose of my trip. Great to have a bar/restaurant on site. Thoughtful to have a kettle available! Couldn’t shut the sash window tho, so room was noisy and a bit cold. Wouldn’t put me off booking again :)

Les chambres sont situées au dessus du Pub qui ferme à minuit. Nous avions une chambre qui donne sur la rue qui est plutôt passante. Même fermées (ce qui est difficile par temps de canicule) l'absence de double vitrage fait que l'on est gêné par la circulation

Eenvoudig maar in orde.
Betaalbare overnachting in rustige buurt, vlakbij een parkje. Bushalte met vlotte bediening zeer dichtbij. Op een half uurtje ben je midden in het centrum. Verzorgde bar en gezellig terras. Kamer ietwat verouderd en eenvoudig, maar wel netjes. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer lieve hotelhond aanwezig.

Ideale Unterkunft für Reisende mit kleinem Budget
Die Unterkunft befindet sich in der Nähe von diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Stadtzentrum erreicht man zu Fuss in ca. 10 min; jedoch gibt es ebenso diverse Busse sowie eine U-Bahn Station in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Unterkunft ist in einem gepflegten und sauberen Zustand und am Abend hat man seine angenehme Ruhe zum erholsamen Schlaf.

Propre, confortable, et repas au resto excellent !
Les chambres à l'étage du pub sont impeccables et très confortables. Salle de bain et wc communs sur le palier mais d'une propreté exemplaire. Serviettes de toilette propres dispos dans la chambre à notre arrivée. 3 nuits très calmes malgré que ce soit un pub! Et je recommande grandement de manger au pub le soir, c'est excellent!
