The stafff were very polite and went above and beyond to help when we asked. There was no rush felt when we got there about checking in or getting to our room, which was nice. The room was fairly small but as it's pretty much the cheapest hotel to where we needed to be, that's not an issue at all.
The shower was really nice, heat and pressure controls were lovely to see so I didn't have to either have too hot or too cold. The room also had a small fridge with some free water which was lovely as we were going to a concert and is exactly what we needed. The room also had free coffee, and tea. There was a lovely coffee maker that was very convenient and easy to use. For the tea and coffee there was sugar, cream and milk which I greatly appreciate. When it came to sleeping, there was a light outside the door which wouldn't turn off but I didn't mind because I wasn't sure if I just didn't see a switch outside my room.
The bed and pillows were nice and comfortable, I slept perfectly fine and maybe even better than my own bed.
In the morning we had our breakfast which for £7 consists of 4 slices of toast. 2 eggs, 2 hasbrowns, baked beans ,fresh tomatoes, fried mushrooms, 8 pieces of butter for your toast, a jam thing, a big yoghurt and tea/coffee or juice.
They do seem to only sell vegetarian food which I didn't have a problem with but I can see why someone might, it wasn't bad though at all. The sausages especially were really nice which was a pleasant suprise.
