We stayed here end of June for 2 nights.
There is parking for free if you can get in as the parking lot is tiny and fits maybe 5 mini cars. We got in the first night but had to park in the local NCP lot by the station at £22 for 24hrs (we were in London in all day). The staff were very helpful though and did message me that spaces weren’t available.
The room was pretty tired and worn. The curtains were in tatters and had a plaster hanging off one of them which was gross. The window latches were broken and dangerous. It was so hot that the portable fan did nothing.
The beds were comfy and clean.
The bathroom was very old and the shower was awful. Toilet seat was broken. The radiator was stuck on and the bathroom was hot which made the room hot. I was sweating while brushing my teeth as I had the door shut to stop the bedroom becoming over heated.
The kettle worked and the free tea was good.
The staff were helpful.
I had prepaid on Expedia and on arrival I thought they took a security deposit but they took full payment again. On check out there was a lot of hassle to show I had been wrongly charged. Eventually later that day I did get my money refunded.
I don’t feel that the quality of the room justifies the price. I was told it’s new management so I hope they can take this feedback and clean up the rooms.
