It was clean and the staff were very pleasant. The shower was so tiny that I couldn’t even move my arms in it. I was given a tiny room on the 3rd floor and the stairs were old and rickety. There was no lift.

Although not perfect, I'm glad your overall guest experience was reasonably good.London hotels in our category tend to have small rooms and bathrooms. Our hotel is not unique in this respect.

The property was fantastic value. The room was small, but it was all that we (a young* couple) needed. The price was very fair and the space was great, but not exactly some spotless modern-chic high rise. If you enjoy quaint, comfortable, classic style, the Rushmore is perfect. A few steps from the Underground made it incredibly convenient for us. Didn't get in a taxi for 3 days and went all over the city and to the airports. We actually landed at Standset, and flew out of Gatwick and Heathrow (had to split up, sadly). And it was SIMPLE!

This is a very quaint English hotel. The location right around the corner from Earl’s Court tube station was perfect for access to Heathrow and travel to any of the main attractions. There were plenty of dining options and a Tesco nearby. There are lots of stairs and no lift, which was a bit difficult with luggage. Our beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, but the room itself was clean and had all we needed. Staff was lovely and helpful.

A cosy place that offers a personal touch. Front desk staff are friendly. Location in Earls Court is excellent. The tube station is a 3-minute walk. Loads of food choices within walking distance. The room assigned to us was a little rundown and could do with some refurbishment but overall, it was a good stay.

Second time i have stayed. The property is ok for a budget hotel. Shower quite cramped. Decoration needed but what put me off was there was a mouse which i didnt discover until the morning. Reported to reception. For this reason i probably wont stay again especially as there are better and often cheaper hotels in the area.

Pretty we very close to the Earl’s Court station which was only good thing about the experience . I would totally avoid this property as room was smelly the bathroom shower was literally hanging and so small you can’t even fit and every time you open the tap in the bathroom there was foul smell as it was blocked or something g . Really horrible experience overall

Pay more if are able to, avoid this dreadful hotel
Check-in was the only decent thing about this stay. Room was dirty, cold and very outdated. There was a little step in-between the bathroom and hall which was extremely dangerous. It was cold outside but no heating on during the night. I had to put all my clothes and socks on just not to freeze. My own fault though - They say you get what you pay for. Bedding sheets made me itch. Thank goodness it was only for one night!

Convenient for Couples on a Break
The hotel was easy to find and in a great location, around the corner from Earl's Court Tube station, with plenty of pubs and eateries on the doorstep. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful - recommending a pub to eat at nearby. The room was compact, but had what we needed, and was warm and clean. You can hear people moving around and noise from the room next door a bit, but it's an old building. If you want a reasonably-priced base to sleep in a convenient location, and you plan to be out and about a lot, this hotel does the job.

Ideal location
A typical London hotel but with a nice welcome, quite a climb up the stairs when your not the fittest person but with the Underground only being a couple of minutes walk away was ideal for visiting the sights of London.

Lovely Convenient Hotel
Lovely hotel situated very close the Earls Court Tube Station with lots of shops and eateries close by. The room was lovely - we had 2 double beds and there was ample salve for three of us as the room was quite large. The only thing that let the room down was the bathroom which was quite dated and in need of a refurbishment. The shower was over the bath and difficult to get in and out so not recommended to anyone who would struggle with this. The shower was however good with plenty of hot water. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. A great place to get around London as the tubes from Earls Court go direct to most top attractions.

The staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. Only downside was we were on the top floor- a lot of stairs with luggage. I hadn’t thought to check this when I booked.

DO NOT STAY HERE!This hotel would have been great as it’s in a good neighbourhood and close to the train system, however they have MICE or RATS.A package of food that wasn’t open and had individually wrapped candies had a hole chewed in the side and candies chewed up by a mouse or rat. When I told the front desk staff while checking out she seemed unfazed by this and didn’t apologize or seem concerned. She asked if I saw the mouse which made it apparent that they know of the issue but don’t care. I think it’s disgusting to pay over $300 for 2 nights accommodation and to stay somewhere with a rodent problem and not do anything about it. DO NOT STAY HERE! Find somewhere else. I hate that I stayed here and am anxious knowing they have mice and worried what other animal/insect problems they probably have.

I'm sorry to hear about this issue and will report it to our pest control company which routinely checks our premises for all kinds of pests, including mice. The technicians have not found evidence of any rats in the hotel but your complaint will not go unheeded and any precautions which they advise will be taken.

The room was very clean and pretty spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The tub and shower were also a good size. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays
